I love this video style! you're getting more comfortable and it shows lol. ALSO when you come to disney, you can go online and rent lenses, so before you commit and spend the money on a new lens, you can test it out for a month. my ex and i used to do it on vacations when we were into photography. can't wait for disneyworld fun!!
Thank you so much for saying that, it means a ton to me! I'm definitely going to look into renting lenses. I think that would be a good idea for a zoom lens. I only want one for Animal Kingdom, but I'm not sure I want to commit to the cost just yet. Can't wait to meet you in person next month!
Thanks for taking us along. Disneyland was my first 😊 I was a we lad back in the 80s. It has changed 10 fold. Still such a magical park! Cool new camera. That is a great model. I have the a7ii and needs an upgrade. I will probably get a new one next year. Love taking photos at the pier area. I can be a bit shy as well. Kind of depends on the day but I try to find a nook as well.
The A7ii is a great camera too! I still have so much to learn with my new one, I’d probably get better footage on my older camera right now. But I’m hoping to keep learning! And as much as I need to learn about filmography, I have even more to learn about photography! But I do really enjoy it still. And the pier is my fave place for photos, so many great photo ops at Disney parks. Thanks so much for watching! It means a lot to me!
The footage from the new camera looks great! I may come back to Disneyland at the end of August with my Mom and friend. It would be amazing to collaborate with you!
Thank you! I still have a lot to learn which will take time & practice. But I am really happy with how well the camera does on dark rides! I don’t know if I’ll have time to make it to the parks at the end of August, but I will definitely try to!
Yeah, the lens is key! Compared to my older footage, I’m pretty happy with how the 35mm f1.8 is doing on rides. I have a few tweaks to make still. For instance I had auto ISO on for Haunted Mansion and it went way too high on parts of the ride, so I need to set the max next time.
The iso range on the a7iv can expand up to 204,800 but the a7siii iso range can expand up to 409,600 not that its usable at that point , but hey if you want to reach out un somebodark soul its good to have. I try not to shoot past iso 100,000 anything past that point is just unusable
I heard that too, however, I think that was taken out of context for click bate. The official announcement said that Disney was removing the fire for the time being until they feel certain it is safe to return. They still have the fire breathing dragon in the parade over in Magic Kingdom. So, I'm remaining hopeful they can bring it back one day. :)
Since the camera is new, I still need to get a few lenses. I’m starting with the Samyang 35mm f1.8. I want to get a wide angle and zoom lens too, so I went cheaper with the 35, it’s really great though so far!
I use auto ISO for some rides. It works pretty well for Little Mermaid. I need to make some adjustments for Haunted Mansion still before I figure out what the max level I want to set is. But auto ISO can definitely be great with the changing scenes on dark rides. I've had it in the past where some scenes were blown out and others too dark. I guess I just need to go back to the park and keep playing with the new camera until I find the settings I like :)
It depends. I typically set the max auto to 12,800 as well. Anything more than that and I find it blows out the brighter scenes. But I find that's not high enough on the Haunted Mansion in Disney World. It's fine for HM in Disneyland but the Magic Kingdom version is significantly darker. I haven't found the best settings for that one yet.
I love the a7iv . It's such a great hybrid camera.
The low light performance on this camera is awesome. Everything comes to life.
Love your videos. Thank you for giving people what they want.
Thank you so very much!! You made my day!
I enjoy watching how natural you are in front of the camera. Also how well spoken!!
Thanks mom! :) And thank you for watching! I do love talking about Disney!
I love your channel. Thank you for giving people what they want.
Thank you so very much!
I also have a 17 to 28mm lens from tamron.
That’s a great lens. I definitely need a wide angle and zoom next. But first I’m going to upgrade my mic.

@@DisneyCableMagic keep going and don’t look back.
Your new camera is excellent. I own the a7siii.
Thank you! You have a great camera too, I’ve been a big fan of Sony cameras for a long time.
The haunted mansion in Florida used to have jump scares in the attic room, and later, they removed them. So sad, still a fan favorite of ours.
It’s my absolute fave ride, I go on it every time I’m there!
The footage from the new camera looks great!

@@DisneyCableMagic you’re welcome! No problem, friend! Hope you enjoy my vlogs I’m going to be making in Europe!
I use the a7siii. It's a low light monster . But it all has to do with the lens.

Did you look into the eyes of the idol on the Indiana jones ride ? I did 😂
Do you like hot weather or the cold weather?
Definitely hot weather! I’m from the north east and I don’t miss the snow at all. I don’t even mind humid/hot Orlando weather. What about you?
@DisneyCableMagic cold, it's easier to put more on than to take more off.
I heard the fantasmic dragon in California will be removed permanently. Bummer

What lens do you use? I use the 28 to 200mm f 2.8 from tamron.

Try filming in auto iso.

What did you automatically set your iso to ? Is I set to 12,800 ?

@DisneyCableMagic maybe next time you try riding haunted mansion in magic kingdom try iso 20,000
