I still have not done the storybook boat ride, it’s just one of those things. Didn’t realize they have mickeys runaway railway there. Love California adventure and the New Orleans square. Pirates is so much better there. Cool room view.
I have only done the Storybook ride twice. It can get quite the long line and it's in direct sunlight, so it's tough on hot days. But it is a really cute ride. Thank you so much for watching!!
I loved this video, Rachel! The low light footage looked FANTASTIC on the dark rides. I’ve never been to Tom Sawyer’s Island on the east or west coast! It seems like a fun deviation from your typical theme park day. I cannot believe the view of DCA from your hotel room! Absolutely breathtaking. It is a shame about the fireworks though. I've never done Tom Sawyer's Island in any park! Even Adventure Isle in DLP... it just hasn't been top of my list in the Orlando heat or the Paris rain and cold. Next time in WDW I'll be with my niece and nephews so I think it'll be on my list to get some energy out with them 😅 Sometimes you have to leave a couple of bits to give you a reason to come back, sometimes you gotta tick off every box and feel like you've completed the park.
What!? You definitely have to go on your next trip and I want a full report! It's funny you say that too, because Rex always says the same thing about leaving things for the next visit. I hardly did any rides on my last WDW trip. I was just making a list of everything I didn't do and I was shocked. But, that's made me extra excited for our trip next month. So many fun things I haven't done in years!
Looks like you had another great day at the park! The footage from the new camera looks great! I know it might be hard to think of new ways to vlog Disneyland, but you’re doing a great job! I’m coming back soon and don’t really know how I’m going to tackle it. I guess we will have to see!
It was a lot of fun! One of the best days I've had at the parks in a while. I'm still figuring out the new camera and trying to learn what manual settings I like. I'm not really good at color grading yet, so I want to nail down my settings. I have a tendency to overexpose in sunlight. But I'm sure I'll figure it out! I can't wait to see your next Disneyland vlogs! What days are you there again?
I feel like it happens more often here than in WDW. Fire safety is a major concern and the fire department has been known to shut down the fireworks for even just a little bit of wind if it's heading in the wrong direction. Also, the people of Anaheim have complained, so fireworks are only done on the weekends and during busy periods over here. If you're planning a Disneyland trip and fireworks are a must, it's important to check the schedule and give yourself a few days to watch them, just in case!
