what does lighting all of them do i got the achievement and it says they're "evil warding" but is there something they do?

Lighting them also light up the bonfire in the boss room. So that you can enchant your weapon with it during boss fight.
Plus, it stops spawning of little adds(?). Not sure what it is since haven't been playing this game for couple years.

@@gangsoju4947 crazy that you still respond but this video actually helped alot with fighting this boss and making it to the next region. btw the more bonfires you light gives you extra bonfires to set your weapon on fire with during the bossfight

@@gabrielepoggioni4773 there are three in the umi bozu fight that buff your sword with fire. You just approach to them and interact with the torches. The other torches are located throughout the map, and they will make it so that no companions appear in the fight. Again, the only thing you have to do is clear the enemies in the zone and interact with them.
