You can do this long before Marobashi by farming the Master Swordsman NPC in the Dojo for your dual sword proficiency mission =)
Yes. Iai quickdraw can never cast as fast as sotc and even given maximum effort cannot hit as hard. Which is unfortunate because dragon builds are fun with the truth sword. Iai is just too slow and has no dash mechanic.

Honestly, likely not. This is really just intended for people just starting the game that are having a rough time. To my experience it's the easiest "cheese build" you can get early on that you can power level with at low to moderate skill level.
Well actually, it did help me out a bit. I just took your build and made it different. But i just made 2 new builds that are super powerfull. I am on way of the wise now. Question, you say this is good for a first play through, but how do you even get remotely close to that level of proficiency in multiple weapons without being in NG+, while still being in the "early game"? Am I doing something wrong because it seems impossible.
No, how he says to unlock it is how it is unlocked. Now to unlock it in the higher difficulty modes you have to fill your mission progress bar up to a certain point to unlock it

@@kingwhodat1848 It is early game... You aren't required to finish the first playthrough to A) get SoTC or B) get a full set of Master Swordman gear. Sure! Try joining other peoples missions in the late game for first playthrough. After your first playthrough the proficiency just naturally comes much faster. Just grab a decent divine weapon and start smashing people. If you have a friend you can coop with there are specific missions that are really good for it in your first playthrough.
This is old content so I don't remember my stats exactly but I can tell you for Sign of the Cross with dual swords you want to stack skill and heart (for unlimited Sotc) first. If you can get +dmg / heart on a weapon then you're doing good. That will up your weapon damage scaling from heart which is a critical stat that you will be stacking anyhow. The more elemental dmg you are running the better for flexibility. Run Kato early game for the + skill dmg passive. Beyond that, it's really preference based.
To call this early game is very misleading. You have to beat the base game before these missions become available. While there are so many more difficulties and replayability for this game, this is nothing close to early game material. This is post-playthrough grinding. Early game means a few hours of content in and you can start exploiting. In order to get to The Two Masters you have to beat the base game. How is that early game? You should really change the title to NG+ farming because in order to get to these unlocked levels for a new player, it will take probably around 30 hours, most of that is fighting the bosses over and over and learning their movesets. This isn't early game. This is post-plathrough if you want to tackle harder difficulties. Just because there are 100s of hours that you can get lost in this game due to multiple playthroughs, doesn't mean that 30 hours in is considered early game. You literally have to beat the game before Two Masters and Mirabashi unlock. Very very very misleading.
Early game is objective but I see your point and disagree. You can use the build early game and if you go through the comments you'll see it helped a lot of people out which was the whole point. I didn't make a dime creating this vid so it's sort of a take or or leave it. Thanks for the feedback.
i just use two fans with human item drop rate and i got the smithing text on my second try beating the master swordsman and if you lack in kappa shells you can easily buy them in the hidden tea house its super easy op build but at way of the demon your better off just farming the gear then forging it
Well, 3 yrs later and this video did not age well. I can see why you didn't go over stats as you need to dump a ton into strength and Stam to agility b. Overall bad advice and stepping into this build is a nightmare. Definitely not checking out other videos or advice here, my build is now fucked. Do NOT use this guide!

Precisly. All these 'early game' uploads should be flagged. How can "early game" mean you finish the game 1st. That's not early lol. Or at least say in the description. Misleading..
@@kingwhodat1848 It is early game... You aren't required to finish the first playthrough to A) get SoTC or B) get a full set of Master Swordman gear. The easiest way to farm the "best" versions of that gear is through Marobashi. It's a complicated game. That doesn't mean you should bash the guy putting out free vids. #hater
@@manbroskyrides6559 nobody bashed you bro. Why would i hate lol whats to hate? Key word 'misleading'. Bruh, how can you complete a whole playthrough for hours and hours and it still be considered "early game" lol. I disagree and i know it misleads beginners because of how that sounds. Thats all.
The guy said hater 🤦🏾♂️ lol #luv
How did you get the lvl of the items lvl 152 or 150 and the mission level was 100
Kill high kevel revenants :)
I’m doing a Dual katana build.
hey thanks man.
Any tips for farming weapon proficiency fast? I’m only like level 60 and my duel sword is only at 300000 and every other weapon is below that
Sure! Try joining other peoples missions in the late game for first playthrough. After your first playthrough the proficiency just naturally comes much faster. Just grab a decent divine weapon and start smashing people. If you have a friend you can coop with there are specific missions that are really good for it in your first playthrough.
What is the stats build
This is old content so I don't remember my stats exactly but I can tell you for Sign of the Cross with dual swords you want to stack skill and heart (for unlimited Sotc) first. If you can get +dmg / heart on a weapon then you're doing good. That will up your weapon damage scaling from heart which is a critical stat that you will be stacking anyhow. The more elemental dmg you are running the better for flexibility. Run Kato early game for the + skill dmg passive. Beyond that, it's really preference based.

Green Gear is divine not ethereal but good video
Thanks for noticing that! I'll do a video edit when I have the time again =) #embarrassing
Thanks for the feedback.
i just use two fans with human item drop rate and i got the smithing text on my second try beating the master swordsman and if you lack in kappa shells you can easily buy them in the hidden tea house its super easy op build but at way of the demon your better off just farming the gear then forging it
Liked and subed.
Thanks! I'll be creating more content this fall. Sorry for the delay!
@@manbrosky6000 No Problem.
You are doing a Great Job .
Explaination, Video Style , Layout Everything is awesome.

I like your video
Made a new sighn of the cross with lai sword slash hybrid. It's just busted lol add flying swordsman talisment and laugh as you become susano
If you haven't tried it yet, try and get a Dragon Sword and run the Dragon Sword Truth set bonus. I had fun with that set =) The overhand heavy attack is really good for headshot guard breaking and then it's GG.
A Doge meme and DBZ reference crossover... In 2019. Now It makes sense I suck at nioh I'm lacking the autism-gaymer factor
"Early Game" 😂
Lol busted move run flying swords man talisment, duel swords, running slash move guard and x, pop living weapon and run over everyone in the game 3 days and you be lol 100
Hate this build blender better
