I just finished my battery replacement. I heated the back of the phone with a hair dryer, I needed a sharper metal prying tool to start the separation process then used the plastic tool. I did not remove the screen, I was careful not to put pressure on the ribbons and left the suction cup on to hold up the screen so it did not try to separate from the body very much. I did not remove the taptic machine as in other videos. That saved a lot of time. Trust Me the fewer screws you remove the better!! They are the size of a grain of sand and require a very steady hand to reinstall!!! Extremely easy to lose drop or misplace! My inner tape strip broke off at the start point so I pried up the battery at that end (from the outside) to regain the grip and pulled it right out. The new battery works great.
What kind of Tape did you use during installation of battery and what is the name of that seal which you put with solution after installing battery please le me know
hello, please tell me why is so to just input plastic tool to loosen up adhesive to separate screen from the body? i cannot insert that plastic tool, no opening.. what am i doing wrong? need to heat up more with hair drier? truing with suction cup as well as help, but no result
I have an Iphone 7 and currently my battery health is at 79% (it went down to that last night). i’m getting the battery replaced this Saturday. When the battery is replaced it doesn’t affect anything on the phone other than the battery right? Sorry if that sounds stupid.. also will the battery health be back up to 100%?
So today my iphone battery kit came in and i watched this and other videos to help me know what to do. At first it sounded hard but then i thought i knew what i was doing and thought oh this is going to be easy. at first it was everything was going good until i had to get the tape out the battery. i struggled but managed to get it out. then i thought to myself wow that was pretty okay for my first time but then i had to put the tape on the new battery. Turns out it wasnt so easy and now my battery has barley any tape on it and wiggles. im so mad about this too im gonna have to get more
Separating the screen from the body was the most disappointing part as the plastic tools were not helpful. The ideas of heating the iphone from the back and using metal tool eventually helped. The rest of steps were much easier.

if I replace the battery of my iPhone 7 the home button and the Touch ID will stop working?
The battery is not related to the work function for the home button and touch id
How-FixIT but the screen yes
What does the display have to do with the battery?
How-FixIT because i’ll aplicate a waterproof adhesive
Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean
Careful! I simply scratched the old battery with metal and it caused it to spark and heat up - use the plastic tool to pry it out!!!!!
Best tutorial! Bravo!
many thanks
That adhesive broke when trying to take the sticker off lol so I just took it off. Gonna sell the phone anyway
this is useful
These tiny screws are pissing me off
same😂😂😂😂
Perfect.

I’m having trouble opening the screen
Under the fingerprint there gonna be 2 screws disconnect them
i wanted to change my battery now i have to change my screen too
Странно, неужели я подписался, что бы слушать обзоры на английском языке. Не может быть!

It’s called using your moms hairdryer
Don’t need to remove the screen and you don’t need to remove the Taptic Engine...
You can use magic to get to the battery, right? No need for the screen.
You can't put the new elastic on without removing the screen first.. think about it.
Thank you
