I’ve been loving TBV. It’s peak. But I’m not sure how I feel about Boruto already being this strong. The power scaling was already bad enough. But now the average Shinobi is gonna have to be above Jigen level just to keep up with these new threats. Either that, or let Boruto handle everything. Which is also not gonna be fun to see.
Sarada, Kawaki, Mitsuki and Himawari make sense, but people like Konohamaru, team 10, Shikamaru, are gonna have to be above adult Naruto and Sasuke level to be relevant.
I don’t think power scaling should be taken too seriously. It shouldn’t get in the way of telling a story, but sometimes it’s just hard to ignore.
I like the idea that training is all you need to get strong, a concept that the series introduced but then abandoned. But then you have Naruto and Sasuke getting alien gods powers just to keep up with the main villains of the last series. So it’s a bit weird that simply training harder can make you stronger than these alien gods. Even if it’s an idea I like.
It’s ironic because Naruto was way too weak coming back from the time skip but now Boruto is way too strong. 😂
i mean boruto was able to get this strong thanks to sasuke , him being 100% otsutsuki so it’s not like he’s just a normal boy who surpassed everyone , and he was already very talented and a genius which was even mentioned at the start of the series but even in shippuden naruto was doing unheard of things as well , becoming a perfect sage , learning the rasengan in like 3 days which is unheard of back then , and a whole lot more . boruto is this strong because the villains that’ll show up will end up being on his level or way above . i could see if boruto wiped out every single villain out but so far all his done is beat code and mitsuki , to me he isn’t too op for the story like you said naruto came back and was super weak compared to sasuke , if boruto came back from training and couldn’t even beat code then what was the point ? but we all know the average shinobi is never going to be this strong just like the average shinobi in shippuden never made it to naruto’s level , but i got hope for the rest of that cast that actually matters .

So I was watching Tenchi Bridge this morning and that 4 tailed Naruto was super powerful. Just being in his presence damaged his opponents. And that’s when Naruto and Kurama were enemies. I don’t see how a KMC(Kurama Chakra Mode) without Baryon mode doesn’t wreck everyone. For instance in that arc there’s a moment when 4 tails releases hundreds of tiny chakra balls into the air before they all merge into one massive tailed beast bomb that blows through a double summoned Triple Rashamon Gate barrier, leaving Orochimaru nearly dead. There’s no reason to think that KMC couldn’t produce more Charles balls and have them shoot at their target like bullets. Even with the ability to absorb chakra weapons wouldn’t be effective against this attack because it would be striking from hundreds of different angels simultaneously. The sheer power we see from 4 tails really messes up what we see from Naruto as he learns how to fight with Kurama later in the series. It reminds me of Tobirama lifting his finger towards Sasuke. Btw, how cool was Hashirama’s response to that attack: “Tobirama! Lower your finger!”

Say what you want, but they scaled everyone back in boruto so that people could win fights with less power. They even admitted as much; they didn't want to draw giant dragonball z crater digging fights constantly so they made the characters crappier
Tailed Beast Bombs not being used anymore because Chakra absorption exists is EXTREMELY dumb. yes, much of the damage of a TBB occurs on impact, but it also causes a conventional explosion, which generates extreme heat and powerful pressure waves, neither of which contain Chakra so those aspects of the technique would not care at all about absorption. and if hand to hand combat can damage the now newest most powerful threats... there's no reason these aspects of explosions would not do damage also, especially the scale of explosions that TBB can cause (the explosions themselves can be literally larger than a village)

Idk if Isshiki "couldn't" put people in the daikokuten dimension like Kawaki did with Naruto and Hinata, but you're right about him not doing it (putting Baryon mode Naruto in there would have been a good idea tbh). With that being said, I don't think Kawaki can shrink people with sukunahikona like you mentioned (again, I could be wrong), but we'll have to wait and see

I just rewatched the first Jigen vs Naruto/Sasuke fight: When the fight is pretty much over and Jigen's shell starts cracking... why did he still think itd take too long to kill Naruto and the Nine Tails like he stated when he essentially had them both on the ropes? Did Jigen know it was POSSIBLE a jinchurki could do that(Baryon mode) and didnt want to risk it ? 'Cus he seemed genuinly shocked Naruto had anything left when he had him inbtween the two large dice blocks.

They power scaling is a fucking joke. You have Adult Sasuke getting manhandled by fused Momoshiki, then have chunin exams boruto run his fade and kill him. We are suppose to believe that Boruto is the strongest right now even though Kawaki has Isshiki's karma marking. Last time I checked, Isshiki out ranks Momoshiki and is stronger them him. So Kawaki should be way stronger than Boruto. Or we could talk about how Isshiki conveniently loses his ability to shrink himself when he fought Baryon Naruto and could have easily out lasted him.

I'm not sure what asking for boruto to be a spin-off means... Boruto is Naruto's son, so there couldn't possibly be anything but continuity there since the previous characters have to age.

If you think about beginning of shippudden to end of it, it wasn't even 1 year. Naruto went from being complete trash, to mastering sage mode and kcm2 by the end of it. I don't think 3 years is wild for the power jump boruto has gotten since he hs the jougon, karma, and is a child of Naruto and a Hyuga.

You can confirm that even AoE attacks that have no intent on hurting Daimon (Or however you spell his name) as (assuming this happened in the manga as well) when Code was fighting Kawaki in the fight where Kawaki killed Boruto we saw Kawaki unleash an attack and then after the attack was released Code ripped Daimon through one of his claw marks and used him as a shield which was reflected back upon Kawaki. Kawaki had no intent to hurt Daimon with that attack

Its wild to see how much the whole universe changed in 100ish years. Tribal japan fights and 1st hokage founds the village, then about 50 years later the 4th hokage spawns naruto who establishes world peace, and suddenly there are robots and alien gods and essentially none of the skills people developed for the previous decades are particularly relevant at all.
Wild is not the world I'd use, but rather stupid. Yes, it's stupid to see that in 100 years we got from having candles light up a room to having robots and gadgets do jutsus, ipods and other millenial shit. You don’t understand the concept of baryon mode there has been nothing in boruto even currently that’s has been stronger yet
This all makes a fair amount of sense. You can argue any individual entry but these guys can all be argued to have more life force left than Isshiki and comparable stats. Of course theyre likely enough getting ragdolled till then.
The most powerful thing that the characters of Boruto have over the Naruto story... Mary Sue mode. The characters of Naruto had backstories, they had hardships to overcome, they put in absurd amounts of effort in "training arcs" that we could see and understand what it took to make them as powerful as they are. Burrito: Mary Sue Generations has none of that. These characters are just powerful because. Boruto didn't have a tragic family (or lack there of) he had to overcome, no his father was the most powerful person anyone knew, he was loved by everyone in the world basically, he had a loving mother and sister, Boruto was just an edgy kid who didn't appreciate the things directly in front of him because he thought he deserved more and couldn't recognize the effort being put in for him to have such a good life. Boruto is just "special" and magically able to be better than everyone without trying, his story sucks because there is no story, there is no relating to him (and the rest of the cast) unless you are lazy and expect everything to be handed to you and if it isn't then you get angsty and lash out. All of the characters are this way, right off the bat of the story. Sarada is also just special, and the one thing that she isn't good at she doesn't actually work to get better (medical) she just gives up, where in Naruto you would have had a whole story about that person working at it until they were great at it or overcame it with something else by their own efforts, her hardest thing was having a missing father who was also protecting everyone and she knew that. The other main character from the start being Mitsuki was literally created to be powerful and once again we get no "tragic" backstory just here is powerful kid. Kawaki is somewhat tragic, but also he is powerful not because of effort but because of being made that way. Even the "bad guys" are already powerful and get more powerful by what, thats right by just eating a fruit. "Boruto just went through 3 years of training", none of which we get to see except a minor flashback where Sasuke says "you are already better than me, I can't teach you anything else because you are so amazing", thats it, once again he is just "special" then time skip to him being super powerful. Every time Naruto needed to figure something out we saw him working on it, same with all the rest of the Naruto characters who put in the effort through the series including the side characters, and many who did end up having to lose a great deal to protect the things they loved in the end.
Boruto is the what happens when you create a story for entitled GenZ 'Merican kids, they even made them love hamburgers. I don't know what happened to the writer, but this story is just lazy when you compare it to the previous one. Naruto wasn't the best every by any means, but it had character development, it had struggle and things to overcome, it had the whole moral of the story to work hard and overcome adversity. Boruto is just lets make content for lazy kids who like hamburgers to relate to using the Naruto universe to get attention to start.

I'm interested in where the boruto series will go but I have no interest in where boruto himself goes.
The antagonists are also not that interesting, jigen showed up too quickly, kara members were all gone too quickly, ishikki was an otousouki and they never really landed, kawaki's shift was too fast. we went through 5 villains with no real backstory way too quickly.
Honestly the anime filler may be mostly terrible story wise but I'm honestly more invested in the random genin from those than boruto.
@@darchal9430 Out of the many years and far too many hours watching anime, and reading some manga, there have been very few times where I came away feeling like I fully wasted my time. After watching like 120 episodes of Boruto I felt as though I had done just that. I was hoping it would have some character development somewhere, that it wasn't just empty. What little it does have is boring and has no real depth. It honestly feels like they pawned off the IP to the Zoomer Crunchyroll team and told them to "make something kids will like".
It was also absurdly stupid in many ways. They have some advanced tech, they had phones they used early on in the series, yet in one of the filler arcs later they were amazed at the kid "creating" short wave radios to work with balloons?
I admit its not supposed to be for me, Naruto wasn't made for me by the time I watched it. But that doesn't mean I can't see decent writing from bad writing. Maybe I'm just off base and kids the last decade or so have just been far stupider than I even gave them credit for.
@@JohnA... the filler is terrible, the characters are appauling, most of the fights are bad and the writing is awful, I can just enjoy garbage shows unless its Overpowered MC, random harem and the sort, I don't really rate the filler, but Boruto is part of a trend I don't like in MC's so the filler characters are just more enjoyable even if they're bad.

Genius is something they love to throw around in anime/manga, a non Genius can surpass a Genius with a lot of hard work. But when a Genius puts in hard work they can surpass a greater Genius. So as long as the higher Genius puts in hard work they win. Great writing.
I feel like the other major detail that isn’t mentioned with both of Jigen’s fights he used the bare minimum of movements and chakra because his vessel could not handle the output so it’s not a clear estimate of his full power without hesitation like Code is able to do.

Theory on code. That amado didn't full unlock his full potential. Just unlocked the parts of his ability and power he needed to claw grime the ten tails. That amado wanted him to do this. That while the shenju may have not been intential. He might need a chakra fruit. And with out otsosuki abilities. Like a rinnegan. Amado alone doesn't have a means to control the ten tails to pull it off. Nor hashirama abilities to make the tree consume humans to speed up the process. And codes ability to do this. Was Amado tinkering with doing this with out ishiki. Further hinted at in the command word. No dress code. In computers no code. Is a software that someone who can't write code could Use. code in turn Amado not being otsosuki. But code is sleep on some potential that will make him a relative threat later on

Flying raijin isn’t something the sharingan can copy. It’s a highly complex jutsu that has to be learned. It wouldn’t be surprising if Koji had memories of Jiraiya seeing minato use it. He did teach boruto for 2 years.

It was literally told to us in the manga that Daemon reflect only activates when he is touching someone else lol. There was no need for any theories. The true question are you as his opponent strong enough to exploit that.
