The second goal that night against Chelsea was probably the greatest goal I’ve ever seen.

I loved his partnership with Demba Ba. During the Ashley era at Newcastle, the season we finished 5th, was the only positive thing to happen in those 13 years & Papiss was a big, big part of that. Thank you, Papiss.

I’ll never forget Drogba’s reaction, when that goal went in, one of the greatest goals ever scored.

For him to join a club in a brand new country, during the January window & light up the league in his first few months in England with that brilliant goal scoring run he went on was great to see, and let’s be honest he joined a mediocre side back then, and I say this as a Newcastle fan myself.
Regardless of all that, it’s nice to know he still hold Newcastle close to his heart, amazing. ⚫️⚪️
