Thank you for this post. I know the feeling of being burnt out. I'm also in the software business and by the end of the year I'm fried, I always take PTO the week of Christmas, its always nice to get refreshed and ready for the upcoming madness of the new year.
I love your vlogs! It sounds like you're burn out is probably due to your day job, I don't think changing apartments is going to help much. And the longer you're in that day job, the longer it's going to take you to recover even after you leave. It happened to me, it literally took me almost a year to recover from burnout. I started my first job this year and I’m taking 8 days PTO over the last 2 weeks of December. Essentially will be off work for the two weeks hehe! Well deserved break to start the new year afresh!

i have someone cat sit for me! my regular cat-sitter is actually one of my teammates :) i drop howl off at the person's home with all of his daily belongings. i need to completely trust the person tho!
