Because they are all wind-instruments, flute goes perfectly with Suona.
The sound of the bamboo flute is melodious and calm as opposed to the Suona sound that is loud and clear.
We use Suona and flute to express the passion of the traditionnal Chinese music style.

The trumpet one named Suona. It is Persia originated, and it also used in Ancient China. It is famous for its strong, penetrating sound, and it is mostly used at both wedding ceremony and funeral. So that we chinese always said Suona is 'King of the instruments' , 'Unrivalable Thug'. Once it plays, even a whole orchestra can't cover its sound, and it can either celebrate you with your love, or send you to the grim reaper.

This is a Chinese musical instrument, Suona.
It's not that the sound is loud, but that the sound has a strong penetrating power.

A trumpet has valves to alter the "length" of the instrument, this looks closer to a clarinet with holes covered by his fingers. A trumpet is also a brass instrument, while this looks more like a wood-wind instrument.
