if you're not using the water you drain off the feeder pellets for ground bait you might aswell do those first and then drain the excess water off the feeder prepared pellets onto the pole prepared pellets 👍. might aswell have the pellet water to soak them in.
Thanks for the info Jamie as usual but I have one question when method feeder fishing on 2mm do you prefer using a band um sinker on a band rig or a wafter on a hair rig or baby bait spike ?

Im a very generous man, i still save the water😂 i put it on me side tray, ill flick it on my method pellets if the dry out through the day, ill use it to mix a bit of ground bait if needs be, i was joking i am tight cant stand putting clear water on and then draining coloured water off, ive payed for that colour and ill use it if i can 😂
Buy yourself a veg bag from most big supermarkets to drain them off 30p dead easy to carry with you if you don't have the fine mesh type landing net.
Handy for worms too if you double bag them.
If you wanted to add some liquid attraction would you let them dry out a bit first or add it with the water first?

Seem to remember a vid a while back, though he may have changed tactics since, where he'd use an 8mm Spotted Fin Catalyst hard pellet on a band.

Just add 150ml of lake water and the pellets absorb the water no need to soak
