I'd love to know which brush you use to flatten objects and make the sharp edges like in 0:08 I'm a beginner so I'm still learning which brush is used for what, thanks in advance :]
Amazing video man learned so much from the time-lapse. At 13:14 you smoothed some details that you masked and pulled, did u use morph brush to do that or was it a different brush?
I currently use blender and nomad sculpt for modeling and sculpting. I am curious to try out Zbrush! Would you say it would be beneficial or better to make the switch and learn Zbrush or would it be a waste of time given I already know and use nomad sculpt and blender?
Zbrush is the standard on the industry, ig u will be competitive wou will know it, if you just curious on sculpting , take a look , its funny bust sculpt is sculpt on all softwares
It really does depend. If you’re actively looking to join the industry then go for it. But know that you can always reach almost identical results in any 3D software, it’s like asking if you should drive a beat up old minivan or a Ferrari to work. In the end they both get you to the exact same destination albeit in different ways. The reason I’d personally pick Zbrush over Blender is the extremely well done high poly optimisation which allows your PC to run smoothly regardless of poly count, though I personally work in both.
Great work! How do you retopo that? I'm fairly new to ZBrush, but it looks like its dynamesh all the way until the end. Do you for example use polygroup based on masking and Zremesh?
So much time and effort just on one piece of armor is amazing! I'm assuming you work for a studio to create these masterpiece.
