How many days does ovulation takes place after the period
It depends on your cycle length. The key number is 14. So if you have a 28 day period cycle, it is 28-14= 14. 14 days after the first day of your period is ovulation day.
If you have a 26 day cycle, it is 26-14= 12. Day 12 after the first day of your period is ovulation day.

Apart from the menstrual period cycle period Can you throw light on the withdraw ejaculation method to avoid pregnancy
The safe part.
There's no way to know your exact chances of pregnancy in a particular situation of withdrawal. What we do know is that withdrawal works about 78% of the time overall and there is also ‘pre-cum’ or ‘pre-ejaculation’ that can get you pregnant. So if you are trying to avoid pregnancy, it is not a method we would recommend

It’s is not 100% effective, as with any other method and so it is recommended to combine it with a barrier method of contraceptive like a condom

Your very first period, so you don’t have a cycle length yet. So just mark it on the calendar and just wait until the next one comes and count the days of how long it takes to come again

@@marynafula9658 You need to calculate how long it takes for you to get back your period for another month to determine if it is regular or not. Don’t just look on the start dates.

@@marynafula9658 If you have irregular cycles, I don’t recommend calculating your safe days as a form of contraceptive or to prevent pregnancy. Use other methods like the pills, IUCDs etc along with a condom to do so.

Hey there, if you have a 25 day regular cycle, your ovulation day is 11 after your period. Your unsafe days are 2 days before ovulation day, the ovulation day itself and 2 days after your ovulation day.
ALL other days outside of these are considered SAFE DAYS.

For example and if you get period start date 24 menstruation and stop 28or 29 safe will be come how many days
If you period started March 24, your UNSAFE days would be APRIL 5-9. All the other days in the month of April are SAFE. Taking into consideration that you have a regular 28days cycle.

Hey there, you would do it the same way. So since you have a regular 30 day cycle, your ovulation day (most fertile day) would be 16 days after the first day of your period (30-14=16).
And 3 days leading up to the ovulation day, the ovulation day itself and 3 days after your ovulation day are considered UNSAFE days (can get pregnant if you have unprotected intercourse).
The rest of days before and after this set of days are considered SAFE and you have a low chance of getting pregnant on these days.

Taking it that your period is regular, your UNSAFE DAYS are between 6-10 of August, with your ovulation day being August 8.

Okay so if your period started Nov 5 and you have a 28 day cycle, you will be ovulating 14 days later. So Nov 17-21 are UNSAFE days and all other days are safe.

Ohh I get you. With an irregular cycle, it’s harder to really pinpoint a specific day for ovulation/ safe period based on the Calendar method. There are other ways to know when you are ovulating though, like the symptoms of ovulation (I have a video on this coming up really soon)☺️
Also, you can get further consultations with your doctor or gynaecologist about specific changes in your cycle🤗
