It depends on your cycle length. The key number is 14. So if you have a 28 day period cycle, it is 28-14= 14. 14 days after the first day of your period is ovulation day. If you have a 26 day cycle, it is 26-14= 12. Day 12 after the first day of your period is ovulation day.

You could do genetic studies first to see if you have the genes too and make a decision from there, because if you have the genes, it is a risk factor for getting breast cancer.

You should go in to your doctor as soon as possible and based on your age, you will be advised to do an ultrasound (younger person) or a mammogram (older person) or both. Based on how the mass looks or any other symptoms or risk factors you may have, you may be recommended to do a breast biopsy to see if the mass is cancerous or not. And from there, your doctor will know what to do as it regards to the treatment for it. Hope this helps!
