While he should have been willing to listen to her, he was being told his life was in danger and driver would be there soon. That is his only knowledge, he’s old and his mind doesn’t work as sharply anymore. This is 100% on the scammers and would have never happened if not for them.

The kind officers helped coach him at the scene as to what to say. The scam does not work or turn in to violence against the target because the person would call the real police and it would be over.

However, he was a victim of an ongoing series of verbal threats to his life and harassment, all while he was led to believe it was the police doing it. If you're a beaten wife and you eventually slit your abusive husband's throat in his sleep, you are both a victim of domestic violence and a murderer.

This guy was no longer a victim when the lady both started retreating to her car, and gave him her cell phone as he demanded. He needs to serve time and the scammers need to be found, and charged and serve time too.

This tragedy happened on Monday, March 25,2024. It took authorities 19 days to arrest this killer on April 19, 2024....and we, the common public is just finding out about it today April 16, 2024....a full 22 days later.😱🤔😲. Why did it take so long to arrest this killer? WHY? He shot an unarmed woman three times. She posed no threat to him ...she was trying to get away from him.
Despite the threats he had no right to shoot the person not only once but twice. He had an unarmed person at gun point. No self defence can be claimed.

@christined9210 It's obvious to *us* that she was not the person who made the threats but to him, in the moment, it appeared as though she was involved. A person on the phone told him they would be arriving to get the $12k. They told him if he didn't give it to them, they would kill him and his family. Then she shows up in his driveway and approaches his door asking for the package. That is why he thought his life was in danger. Not saying his actions were correct, just explaining why it's not as simple as saying, "She is obviously not a threat."

This is so sad. That poor innocent woman was shot and killed due to no fault of her own and she was not acting aggressively. She was unarmed, backing away, crying for help and he still killed her. In no way was he in imminent danger. There is no appearance of an immediate bodily threat to the man. He should be punished to the full extent of the law. That phone call does not justify him taking the law into his own hands and taking a life. He comes across as an unmerciful cold-blooded killer, in my opinion.
His eyes in that mugshot afterward show no upset at all after just shooting someone. He even looks oddly content and perfectly fine with just occurred. He looks to be not shaken or bothered by it at all.
May God comfort everyone grieving the loss of her. She looked like a sweet person. It's horrible to see her last moments spent in fear.
