    Great video Harry. Can you compare (if possible) the F1 Transmission in the 599 to the double clutch transmission in the 458 for example?

    Fab as always, thanks Harry.

    This or the 812 GTS will be an interesting comparison! My guess the 599 Aperta will retain its value better. But what of the driving?

    Lovely car but is it just me or were the brakes a bit ‘squeaky’?? 😱 Love Harry’s enjoyment of a car and his friend is obviously very trusting! 😆

    This car, or one very similar, has just gone up for sale at Simon Furlonger for 1.4m...

    a little surprised that you were using so many revs on a brand new car?

    • @550LMS
      @550LMS 3 года назад +1

      these cars are already run in on the engine dyno by Ferrari. '''Running in'' an engine these days is not necessary on new engines, anyhow, due to advances in tightness of manufacturing.

      All Ferraris can go to a track straight out of the factory. Some cars from the production are even tested on the Fiorano track.

      @@petrolheadat Makes sense, who the hell would have the control for that anyway after spending 300+ grand. I guess it's over a mil now, that's ridiculous.

    Damn him. Every review makes me want whatever he's in! Every other 'young smug bast*rd' makes me glad I don't have one. HM rules!

    I'd never get my trowels and mixing buckets in that...! Maybe it wasn't aimed at plasterers?

    Even in 2022, this Ferrari is undervalued considering they only made 80 of them

    i plan to make a 550 marabello replica from a celica and 550 body kit and some fiber . then park it at the factory ...then when the door man say "move it " i would trash it ...great tribute to these overpriced underenginiered trashcans !wouldnt be something ?😅

    seriously revving a brand new Ferrari? you don't deserve that car

      What's the issue? New ferraris can be taken straight from the factory to the track. The engines are "broken in" before they ever get into the buyers hands. Chill out.

      @@DoWorkNP I’m not sure about that, I’d break them in for at least 2500km

      This isn't some mass production hot hatch. That engine is hand built, effectively blue printed, balanced to perfection and probably already run on the dyno.
