ya ya ya yadava song was much more than radhe krishna song i think. It is a re-creation of a Sridevi hit from 90s and it marked the quintessential 90s nostalgia for many! :)
Naslen's and Amal Davis's expressions were on point. It was so good i waited for the video song to be out weeks later !!!
This movie is a rare phenomenon. The TELUGU VERSION of this movie is 💯 times more entertaining to our TELUGU audience because of excellent dialogue writing and voice artists.

4:32 The way that reenu and sachin meets the first time is also another cliche that's been broken.....it's such a simple, realistic scene...like how one is likely to meet another new person in a wedding very randomly..as opposed to slow motion intro of the heroine and love at first sight ❤❤👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

what a detailed review....hatsoff👏
A very nice feel good movie... actors are fresh which makes the movie a fresh treatment... there is no real villain and that makes the movie more comical with one of the character trying to be a villain and he was also natural in his comical villanous acting rather than being dummy villain... the best part of the movie is the looks of the hero and heroine which was also quite natural settings and also other supporting friends characters.... the only issue of the movie is in some places movie is dragging and with some edits to 2hrs this could have been much more enjoying but that does not really tale away the fun element of the movie .... a very good watch

Good one👍 u forgot to mention the distance Sachin maintained wen came bk to hyd, just the day bef leaving to Uk for karthika wedding. Though Reenu was emotionally disturbed & had a good approach to him, unlike the stereotyped male friendly approach to the girl who rejected him, he said he was not interested to respond to her messages. And waited upto her opening up to get bak in flow wth her.

Out of all the jobs, guy prefers to work in KFC restaurant, doesn't care about family, just want be as aimless as possible, doesn't know how to survive in his own country but goes to UK(god knows what he does there), above all at the end he says that he is relieved that he is not single anymore, did he really love her or was he just desperate enough to get "committed"?

He was never aimless. He had clear plan to do higher studies abroad, even before graduation. This is told in beginning of movie itself. He didn't got visa in first attempt since he didn't had funds. People do higher studies abroad not bcos they dont know how to survive in his own country. Many Imdian ceos including Googles did higher studies abroad. Please dont disrespect NRIs.
Gate coaching was just a way for him to stay away from native, to avoid questions from people. How hard it is to stay jobless in society who always put thier head in others affair. Working in kfc is not a bad thing. Don't disrespect peoples job.
The hero felt lonley, vulnerable, insecure and desperate for love. This is understandable being from a lower middle class family where parents don't talk to each other. Humans are social being that Craving for love and intimacy. Wanting to feel loved, valued and accepted is not a bad thing.
The actress toward the end to movie found a value in Hero that is beyond his career or family staus.
When will the audience learn such values?
1. what is wrong with working in KFC.. if done obediently
2. when does it look like his family ever cared for him??? Totally ruined his mental peace with the dad-mom not on talking terms
3. that sequel is coming.. premalu 2.. in 2025
found it to be extremely boring. The heroine does drop hints to his colleague/lead by gently stroking his hair and admiring him for his help and ditches him conveniently when she finds out that boy is going to the UK.

Too much hype and no much in it!!! This one is in small parts a nice cute love story and in the larger parts pretty boring. The movie gives you an amateurish feel.
Mamitha is ok and so is Gafoor when he isn't overacting. Shyam Mohan is very good.

I felt Telugu dialogue version was badly written...True essence can be felt with only Malayalam version....U should have watched in Malayalam with subtitles
Overrated movie
Premalu didnt work for me. and i found Amal Davis the friend to be a toxic friend who talks non sense about the girl that his friend is in love with. Amal goes to the extent of saying that she and aadhi might have....aah anyways. No story movie basically. didnt work for me. also, cant understand why Baradwaj is so excited about it. The things that he points out in this review makes me go 'really ?'...'they are that good and layered ...?'

Most of the time cinema makers cook story for cinema, but this feels like a light waited story which everyone can related to their collage days.... No tension sequences, no hi-fi story lines, no purposeful heroism (which most of the cinema has, which hero beat Villans and show heroism). Even in the last fighting hero is not even hitting a single person, this is very much relatable to our own life.... That made this film easily accessible to common audience hearts....
Naslen and mamitha have sparkling chemistry...hope they will do lots of movies together

I would say you must watch " Anweshippin Kandethum " .

I watched both in theaters I laughed sooo much in premalu but I was tied to the edge of my seat in manjummel boys ... both movies have very diff genres but I feel that the young audience will like premalu more because it is more light hearted, fast paced and quirky
