She also had to be told back to cooking. We won like 16:4 or some. Crazy days.

Probably because it sort of resembles the word “CUNT”, if you have a couple holes in your brain anyway. In my opinion anything should be allowed in M rated games, even a “CUNT” clan tag.

I've been playing League in and out for about 10 years now. If you don't get any benefit out of hostile people, then just report & mute them. I used to feel disappointed when people got mean for no reason, but nowadays it's so easy to report and get them punished that I just have my own fun by managing to get aggressive users penalized for getting too emotional in a game.

I've been in chat lobbies that have gotten out of hand. Especially during MW3, Black Ops, World at War, etc. It's just a wall of noise, and the best thing to do is just mute everyone, put on some music, and continue playing. Even if you receive offensive messages, just block them, lol. There are so many ways to handle the problem.
It's online and no one will cater to everyones feelings. I personally am trash at trash talking since I came from a house where it wasn't allowed when gaming. I just mute and move along like you said or if I am in a public lobby I turn off mic and chat functions. I can always turn them back on when my buddies get in the game. Even in team games if you know your job well enough you do not need communication verbally. Deaf teams have been doing raids in destiny for a long time now without verbal comms.

As a Valorant player. The main problem is how popular the game has gotten. There are plenty of players that think these type of people are annoying and overly sensitive, but the game is so popular that you inevitably going to meet these types of people. Its a competitive shooter that has gone mainstream. There are plenty of people who play, that havent really played a competitive game before. So they arent used to the trash talk, and as a result, they have thin skin and complain.
Now I will admit, that dude was clearly wayyyy in the wrong. And he probably should get a ban (not a hardware ban). But she was also clearly farming for clicks.
The best valorant games happen when everyone clearly isnt new to gaming and they know how to talk shit and not get their feelings hurt. Those games exist, but sadly, people like this will always be louder

I've been playing League in and out for about 10 years now. If you don't get any benefit out of hostile people, then just report & mute them.
I used to feel disappointed when people got mean for no reason, but nowadays it's so easy to report and get them punished that I just have my own fun by managing to get aggressive users penalized for getting too emotional in a game.

That's mild on Xbox 360 they were dropping addresses and social security numbers in game chat. People got swated if they said the wrong thing to somebody. Like one time a kid was making robot noises and talking about he loves forklifts I called him a r tard he ddos'd me for the rest of the day then just randomly for the whole month I had to call my isp to change my ip address. I think the problem is a whole lot of people playing video games got no friends no jobs no future they got nothing so they trying to stream and go viral but they got nothing so they got to be a professional victim.

I've been in chat lobbies that have gotten out of hand. Especially during MW3, Black Ops, World at War, etc. It's just a wall of noise, and the best thing to do is just mute everyone, put on some music, and continue playing. Even if you receive offensive messages, just block them, lol. There are so many ways to handle the problem.

I personally am trash at trash talking since I came from a house where it wasn't allowed when gaming. I just mute and move along like you said or if I am in a public lobby I turn off mic and chat functions. I can always turn them back on when my buddies get in the game.
Even in team games if you know your job well enough you do not need communication verbally. Deaf teams have been doing raids in destiny for a long time now without verbal comms.

I hate to admit that the community is basically babies, I told one of my teammates he was mopping the floor because his crosshair were at feet level, then he started throwing and said that I ruined the last bit of motivation he had to play the game. So I apologized in hope he would stop throwing, but he just called be soft, so I just told him that he was crying about criticism. He also threw the second half but we won.
