Woow only 10 years ago Oh gosh♡ we were listenning him in 1977 back in the days . Pleasure to see him again in this decade . Thank you so much Graham Nash
His album "songs for beginners" and the album "tapestry" by Carole King are the MUST of my life .... two simple fair souls on air ... clean and deep poems indeed .. thanks a lot
@@charlottegunning1548 please play "have I told lately that I love you" by rod steward ... maybe this song was written for you too .... I think so ....
This has always been my favorite song by Graham. I first heard it because it was on the flip-side of his "Chicago" 45 rpm. But I didn't know that it was about Joni! The emotional rawness of this song coming through his voice reaches deep inside.
Beautiful music. I loved your song and we used to sing your song in my high school days. And I am still singing your song Thank you for the beautiful music you made. Beautiful melody too.
@Graham Nash Thank you for the music. This has been a favorite of mine since 1979. I never get tired of it. I think I've got 6 or 7 different versions from live recordings. I get chills. So many beautiful songs over so many years...still relevant. Still gut wrenching. ❤️❤️❤️
@Graham Nash I wont be texting you...mainly because I have no clue who you are. Definitely not the Graham Nash i know! I dont know what you're hoping to achieve - but you won't find it here. You should be ashamed of yourself... pretending to be a world famous musician universally loved and respected, then you start impersonating him and he gets a bad reputation! You're not very good at this. Broken English in a text is usually a dead give away for a cat fisher. Cease and desist!
@John Patsy *One of the best bootleg videos I've ever heard. The sound quality is off the charts! Thank You. I have loved this GN song since the early 70s, and I used to play it for my first love. We still talk 50 years later although we married different people!*
Grahm Nash is Amazing. I Love his voice, been listening to him since early 70's! I guess that makes me pretty old. Thats Ok, ill take The Beatles, The Stones and Grahm Nash over Any of today's bands n musicians, hands down! I love you Grahm
he is still so good after how many years? stunning and a lovely man. he is still hurting from his affair with joni, and who wouldn't be? can you imagine being her boyfriend? and he was equal to the joy of that. pictures of them together back then are a remarkable thing to see. what a pair they were! nice harmonica and rich and basic guitar, too.
Like so many singers who have grown into old men and women his voicevhas changed, and for me , not for the better. In the sixties with the Hollies and the early years with CS&N his voice used to soar to those high notes effortlessly but with age ,and probably smoking, his voicevno longer has it.
So much love for joni it transpired in this beautiful song how desperate he was feeling despair. You can see the love in all their pictures it was undeniable

Tapestry was my very first LP. I was about 10 years old, I think. It was a time of innocence and wonder for me. Music was a big part of that.

Oh me too! It felt like the songs in those 2 albums Must have been written For Me. So spot on!

To not hear David’s harmony is tough. It’s still wonderful.

Is that Joni Mitchell you're talking about?

Something so many could relate to and would rather be in a complicated world where love can be just as complicated when it should not be.
Love Nash.

Just a Simple Man absolutely awesome Graham from my favorite album Songs for Beginners
yeah... great words by another poet.
Wow

Only Rita accompanying him would make this better! As it was perfect on Songs For Beginners!

Bon iver sent me here
I always imagine how much better every CSN song would have been without Nash. Lee Shore, for instance.
i wonder if he knows Barbra Streisand has recorded this

Sorry thumbnail had me thinking it's trump
Great song, just wish it had been written for someone else...
Why?
not as good on guitar
I do not like it’
