2013 2SS/RS here. I'm in love with this car. Some caveats though...It feels like an SUV at high speeds. I bought Airlift suspension and that solved the problem or you can go with coilovers for lower center of gravity. Also the visibility isnt the best and whenever something needs to be replaced in the interior ( IE the A/C , 3rd brakelight or speakers ) it's a total pain. All and all I still feel the 5th gen Camaro is a classic waiting to happen. Its the first generation that brought the Camaro back into the scene.
I have a 2011 2ss. Put a zl1 performance trans in it. 3.91 gears headers gpi stage 3 vvt cam . Pro tuned the trans. Car pulls like a freight train. Get some 3.91 gears from Gm. Makes the car complete.
I got a 2011 Camaro 2SS had a new GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate engine installed with LS3 CNC ported heads has a built 6L80e transmission with a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter aluminium one piece driveshaft many other upgrades with just 3 eighth mile passes car ran 7.40 at 94mph full interior and air conditioning with stock 3.27 gears cruises 80mph at 2100-2200rpm on the highway like stock it runs and is tuned for E85
@@SGO_ Only one I’ve seen with a blue top and factory 21’ rims. She also has 3.91 gearing. Under the hood by the latch, there’s a little aluminum tag says “Performance” with a bow tie. Does yours have that tag? I can’t find what it means.
@@SGO_ I think you will enjoy it, there are some nice places to go, it's also cheap for people who earn their money in USD, the conversion is 1 to 5.5 reais. I strongly suggest Maragogi beach if you want a peaceful and beautiful place. Or Florianópolis if you want more excitement. But there's all kind of places to be besides nice beaches.

Was looking at a 2011 2ss with 90k miles for 19,500$ I hesitated because of the miles but I’ve talked to a couple different people that told me they had higher miles & still didn’t see any problems. Just want to get more opinions on this
I owned one that I bought around 60k miles I put on a lot of miles daily driving the car and got it up to 115k and still ran very strong. I mean I would do pulls and all until I sold it. The only ever issue I had was a Burnt O2 sensor but that's it. Ls3's are very durable engines. I would negotiable a lower price with them.
I just got a 2010 SS 2 SS AND did not thinck i was gonna love it so much and y guess i got a bargain because i got ig for 9250$ it needed only afew touches but engine transmissoon and AC is ok all it needed is some cosmetics i added afew touches here and there fixed worn seats engine mounts swap fluids some suspensión parts it al came out to 13k $ and its running like champ i didint think its so refined compared to the older 4rth gen which i also own one my 96 z28 feels raw compared to the lovely 5th gen but i love 'em both

What year models is your Camaro? I know the 2010-2012 has the thicker needles in the gauge cluster and has that smaller radio panel, the 2013-2015 had the thinner needles, better steering wheel and the “My link” panel aka the touch screen radio. I could be wrong on 2013 having that “My Link” but I’m pretty sure it does. Originally I was looking at getting a 6th gen Camaro but I’ve begun considering a 5th gen I just want the thinner needles if I get a 5th gen. I’m on the fence though about wether or not I want to get a manual or Auto I’ll have to drive both tbh before I make a decision reason I’m considering a auto is due to the traffic on my way to work.
Mine is a 12 ss and my link came around 2013 as an option if I’m not mistake just like option for sunroof. And if you are driving daily it’s just a preference I enjoy the Manual a lot and in traffic yes it’s a hassle but you get used to it. And as far as thinner needles I think that began in 14-15 years.
I could be wrong but I believe the thin needles came around 2013, from my research the steering wheel can be changed easily but if you change the gauge cluster out for the 13-15 one then it needs to be reprogrammed. From what I’ve seen of yours it looks like you have the thinner aka the better gauges.

I have a 2017 camaro ss and can honestly say that the 6 gen does not compare to sound of a 5th gen. When you add headers/cam to a 5th gen they come ALIVE and sound soo good. The 6gen get WAY too raspy and unbearable. I had long tubes on my 6gen and hated the sound. I took them off and sold them and just slapped a procharger to my 6gen. 6 gens sound perfect just stock with a new exhuast system. adding headers or a cam would make it faster but unbearable to listen to in my opinion .
Getting a 2010 SS Automatic at 21K miles this week if it is God's Timing, Blessed & Grateful to trade my 2015 RS (daily and only Vehicle) for it. Amen.

Yours is probably a 1le performance package those came with 3.91 gears. Better handling package for the track.

Depends on the look of 10-13 or 14-15 and the steering wheel changed in 2012 but other than that same engine.
