WF-3540 -- I get the "paper jam in the automatic document feeder" when I'm not using the ADF. I'm just trying to copy a sheet on the glass. In fact, I can successfully copy a single sheet using the ADF and immediately afterwards a blank sheet is discharged AND I get the message. I've done the roller cleaning exercise twice even though I'm not feeding paper from the ADF when I'm just copying a sheet on the glass. Whazzup?? Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much! I was scared I'd break the feeder since it didn't open easily! There was a piece of paper I couldn't see! Works perfectly now on my Epson ET-4500!
I bought a WF 3730 because I thought the HP printers were eating me up on ink costs but the Epson is a cantankerous piece of plastic and not trouble free at all. This printer has been troublesome from the get-go.
My Epson ET 4750 had a paper jam in the document feeder. I cleared it but now it won't feed anything through it. I did your cleaning of the rollers and blew it out. Help!
The worst that could have happened is that your feeder gear failed and caused the paper jam. Try turning printer off, then on and try to feed through it again. Clean the rubber rollers and let them dry from solution for about two minutes before sending anything through.
@@303electronics Well, that didn't work. I tried turning if off and unplugging to reset it. It looks like a trip to the shop. Thanks for your thoughts on it though. If anything else comes to mind let me know.
My Epson ET4760 ADF has not worked properly since day 1 (brand new). No matter how carefully I align the paper in the tray, sheets that START to feed straight, twist and end up feeding "katywhompus ". I also, using a standard 8.5x11 sheet discovered that the Epson paper width adjustment guide is set incorrectly. Single sheet ADF scanning is virtually impossible. Placing several sheets into the ADF tray seem to work better in terms of a completed scan. Multiple complaints of this nature suggest Epson engineers need to address this problem. Go figure, Clark.
u seem reall ygood with these printers. I was gonna ask if you or anyone could PLEASE make a video on showing how to remove the star shaped exit rollers that cause Pizza Wheel marks? Ive been told it can be done and doesnt hurt anything but i am scared to do it without a guide since im not overly familiar with these printers and have only had this Epson WF-7720 for 2 months. So if someone could PLEASE make a video for this or a video some other way showing how to get past the pizza wheel marks on glossy paper.
@@craftyme6804 let me know if u ever find a video of someone removing the rollers, cuz ive wanted one for a while. Kevin said he would make one but i dunno when/if that will happen, tho im hopeful. But if u or anyone finds a video of that please let me know asap.
Such a simple fix and it did the trick on my Epson WorkForce 845. Thank you!
You're welcome! Glad it worked for you! Thank you so much for your feedback!

That's great to hear! I'm glad you fixed it. Have a wonderful day!
I wish I could have that 30 seconds of my life back. *sigh*
Why does it say paper jam when there IS NO paper jam?! I hate my Epson POS.
I have an EPSON wf2750, and I don't have that sensor that I can tell. But I'm still getting the error.
I have a wf 2540, showing a paper jam adf, I have striped it apart, no paper , must be a bad sensor,

Thank you sir! Exactly what I needed!
Glad it was. Thanks for the feedback!
It helped me thanks
No obvious problem, but opening the feeder door did the trick
Thanks for sharing!
My printer feeds and gets jammed as it's returning to where the original returns to
There is most likely something in the way of the paper.
@@303electronics it only does it with multiple sheets 2, 3 , 4 but not single sheets
worked
Great!
