That cosplayer looked sooooo good! I'm blushing lol the costume looks beautiful and fits so well and the makeup is perfect too. The hair is ofc absolutely amazingly done!
Your wig styling is actually great because it doesn't look so overstyled and plastic, like most cosplay wigs does. My tip is to watch tutorials for visual kei hairstyles. Style Council videos are great. Their styling looks more natural and soft, kind of like how final fantasy hair looks in the animated movie
This is ofcourse a preference, but I personally never think extremely pointy spikes looks good, I brush them out a bit to give them a softer and "natural" look, yet still look like spikes
Visual kei hair is very similar to anime-type hairstyles so yeah 💕
This is helpful! I was worried how I was going to create such a good middle part of a wig that doesn´t even have a normal middle part to begin with.

Can someone tell me the name of the haircut bc ive seen this before and I’ve been wanting to cut it like this for a while now 😫
Anime haircuts are made up, usually a character designer just goes wild and draws whatever, it's not based off of any real-world hairstyle. Because it's made up, there is no name for it, and a common american hairstylist probably wouldnt be able to cut hair like this. Your best options are to try to do it yourself, buy a wig, or visit an "alternative" hair salon and show them a picture of the character.
