I hate it when people say that this sounds like a "boy group song"... NO. it's a gender neutral song that you can see a boy group perform it, and there's not a lot of groups who do this style. Because in kpop, companies think that "distinctions" between ggs and bgs should always be there. That's why in ggs cute or girl crush concepts are prominent, and in boygroup the most popular are the '상남자' (idk the english for this hehe) concepts. A few of the groups who do this style is Kard (bc they're co-ed), Dreamcatcher, and Astro (Their brother group). Weki Meki is really creating a concept for themselves and it works well because it describes them so well. The message of this song fits them and they're so COOL.
After reading this, i kinda realize that both weki meki and astro have the same route, both group started with cutesy and bubbly track then they transition to more of a mature grown up concept as they age, it's kinda cool since their sister/brother group 👌

I hate it when people say that this sounds like a "boy group song"...
NO. it's a gender neutral song that you can see a boy group perform it, and there's not a lot of groups who do this style. Because in kpop, companies think that "distinctions" between ggs and bgs should always be there. That's why in ggs cute or girl crush concepts are prominent, and in boygroup the most popular are the '상남자' (idk the english for this hehe) concepts. A few of the groups who do this style is Kard (bc they're co-ed), Dreamcatcher, and Astro (Their brother group).
Weki Meki is really creating a concept for themselves and it works well because it describes them so well. The message of this song fits them and they're so COOL.
After reading this, i kinda realize that both weki meki and astro have the same route, both group started with cutesy and bubbly track then they transition to more of a mature grown up concept as they age, it's kinda cool since their sister/brother group 👌
