One of my favorite things in this is watching faces like legendary stand-up Ray Romano in the crowd. You can see on his face that he knows some real comedy magic is happening.
He wasn’t cringing at the Epstein and other pedo jokes but the felicity huffman and other jokes directed at other actors. He’s got a reputation of being one of the nicest men in Hollywood and he’s never been named as a conspirator. This whole tarnishing of his character is not doing anyone favors.
And yet the actors he mentions are still attending the globe awards accepting awards. Even Ricky was there at the last one and having drinks with them, you would think if he meant what he said, and he hated being there as a host, he would not support the globe awards and sit with all of them. Its all scripted bruh, before the show airs its all rehearsed.

Don't get me wrong, his jokes are still funny but, now I wonder how many times those "reality checks" have made into comedy and not much was done about them. I used to think it was exposing them, now I am concerned that somehow it's making it "normal/not surprising". I think some twisted minds that have actual power now know that they can get away with basically anything, because people don't care anymore. I've watched all of the "Ricky Gervais moments at Golden Globes" and found it very funny at first. Don't get me wrong, his jokes are still funny but, now I wonder how many times those "reality checks" have made into comedy and not much was done about them. I used to think it was exposing them, now I am concerned that somehow it's making it "normal/not surprising". I think some twisted minds that have actual power now know that they can get away with basically anything, because people don't care anymore. We hear about it ( some dark stuff ), we are shocked, time passes and it becomes irrelevant. I'm not saying we should live in the past, but letting corrupt philosophy dwell in reality without properly addressing it "might" be dangerous.
Anyway, always nice to share something you enjoy with a fresh pair of eyes. Brings it as close to "watching it for the first time" as it possibly can. Thank you for that!
