What do most religious people mean when they say “i can’t support LGBTQ+ but i can respect them”? it doesn’t make sense to me, bc to me respect is the bare minimum/most basic part of support /genq
I think something people don’t acknowledge is sometimes people with ptsd have a fear of getting scared. Ie we’re having a good time in the moment but then start worrying “what if this triggers my fight or flight, what if I get freaked out and can’t leave” which can be just as disabling.
reminder that even if you can reclaim the r slur you shouldnt use it as an insult (or better yet, dont use it negatively at all)
My favorite thing to say to conservatives and stuff when they say something messed up is “that’s not very punk rock of you” (they get so confused) also punk is literally the best music and subculture/beliefs
after a while all I hear when people say “Drawing black people is so hard” just sounds like “I can’t handle the idea that someone looks different to me, and I don’t want to improve my skills by making more diverse and dynamic characters”
Guys im so afraid and excited for adulthood. Especially in America being able to be apart of the change but also facing more discrimination. Im so terrified of being hate crimed or going into poverty but also im so happy bc i can get out if my toxic house and finally pursue my dreams and wants and be an active part of change
Hi everyone :3!! Sometimes i forget about the whole "doesnt like change" part of being autistic because of the "desperately needs different things sometimes" part of my ADHD. And then my room was cleaned and things were moved and it made me so upset I had to move things back them immediately. Also the first frost happened last night for me!! I don't like winter too much but its really pretty and the snow (if it comes) is my favorite part :]

Someone being attractive or “aging well” doesn’t make them a good person. Just because someone is pretty doesn’t make them a good person. And because someone isn’t deemed pretty or attractive, doesnt make them a bad person.
My school was nominated for a an award as one of the best schools for inclusion and disability in the state… and I’m like what. Because the school does the bare minimum? We have all gender toilets as an option, all non competitive races at sports carnivals aren’t gendered, we have chill out spaces for disabled kids, and lifts? Like. How is this some revolutionary thing. How are we the gold standard.
