    How are the Europeans not better? They should have all of their top pros to select from, where team USA has a number of professionals that don’t make the trip to Europe. And, don’t tell me the tour points, because that doesn’t matter when many Europeans don’t play many DGPT events. Also, in Europe disc golf is less of a joke sport, so athletes are more likely to play. In the US disc golf likely falls around number 20 or greater for popular sports.

      The top of USA is stacked, Europe has a lot of great up and coming talent, but they've only had maybe 5~ years of it absolutely booming. Not to mention their best player by a mile to play with/against left for the US a long time ago as well. Lack of absolutely TOP tier competition to help drive and improve them is why.

    Ughhhh... Can we please stop calling the circle, the "bullseye" ! It sounds like a yard game or darts.... Its called the circle and there is only one and it has a purpose, no need for a circle two ? You know like when you play a hole and ask the group if it is in or out ? Now its wait inside which circle ? 😅

    • @nick1384
      @nick1384 Год назад +4

      “Bullseye” is a 3 meter/10 ft circle. Circle 1 is 10 meters. It’s just for stats

    • @hodlsage8968
      @hodlsage8968 Год назад

      @nick1384 I guess my point is, the circle was like the ball golf green. You then had similar stats, GIR and CIR, for their respective sport. Then, when on the green or in the circle, you had putting stats. The bullseye is just silly. It's like putting a circle around a golf hole. It's just not needed for putting stats. Now we have a bullseye and 3 circles ? What kind of carnival game are they making disc golf ?

    • @justsomeboyprobablydressed9579
      @justsomeboyprobablydressed9579 Год назад +5

      @@hodlsage8968 Two reasons I like the bullseye (I don't care what its name is): 1. It's a good stat for drives (on par 3's). Driving to within 3 meters is great accuracy and it's nice to know who is doing that best. 2. The bullseye allows you to disregard putts from within 3 meters (too easy) when calculating circle one stats. I don't understand why keeping stats from within 3 meters, within 10 meters, and within 20 meters makes disc golf like a carnival game. It's just stats. The game doesn't change.

    • @hodlsage8968
      @hodlsage8968 Год назад

      @justsomeboyprobablydressed9579 I see your point on stats. However, it seems there is no need for a bullseye to keep those stats. The player makes a 30-foot putt or a 3 foot putt, and the stat is still recorded, it's just like in ball golf. There is no need for other markers on/off the green. To me, it's just goofy sounding, to say inside the bullseye without something called the bullseye like on a dart board. To Each his/her own. Cheers !
