Super Mario Flash is a Flash game that appears to be based off of Super Mario All-Stars, using the map feature from Super Mario Bros. 3 ( tasvideos.org/17G ) and the level designs from Super Mario Bros. ( tasvideos.org/1G ) and Super Mario World ( tasvideos.org/99G ). While it may not play exactly like the games it's based off of, the game served as a passable substitute for those in the mid-2000s who had Internet but didn't have the resources to play the original games.
In this run, Vexxter ( tasvideos.org/... ), TheAmazingYucemu ( tasvideos.org/... ), and RileyTech ( tasvideos.org/... ) improve on their previous movie with better re-routing which also contains intentional slowdowns and newer glitches to complete the game as fast as possible.
Legendary game. Would play this all day before I found out about emulators
I used Protector Flash Player to play this
Another good editor game is SMBX! I have to mention it since it's one of the best ones out there, and relatively early since it was made in 2009 by the future creator of Terraria.
@@johwarly8279 uhh about that… it got nintendo'd 😟
@@lampoilsalesman Now I don't know whether the original 1.3 version is still available online, so that may be the unavailable one. But SMBX as a whole is still alive and well in the form of SMBX2 and SMBX-38A.
@@lampoilsalesman Nope, it's still available. The original online location for it - supermariobrothersx with the organisational ending - was indeed taken down on Nintendo's lawyer's request, but much of it was moved to the new online location - smbxgame with the community ending.
Oh boy do I remember this glorious game, hours and hours of exploring the custom levels, same with it's sequel
I was so bad at the game for some reason back in the day that while I had fun I couldn't get past the 2nd level. 😂
@@KananIsMyBae Lmao, i couldn't be able to beat the final level, because of damn Hammer Bros...😅
This really puts the "Flash" in Super Mario Flash
This game was part of my childhood :) I hope you have a Super Mario Bros Crossover TAS one day
please take this with a grain of salt because i'm very unsure but i think i remember seeing Super Mario Bros Crossover in the TASVideos WIPs which means it's in the works! if i'm wrong though i'm sure one will be made soon enough, SMBC is a very popular fangame
I wasn't expecting such a speed game
I used to play this game all the time. Really cool to see another TAS of it, and an awesome one at that. Congrats to the authors on getting this finished!
Luigi going at Flash Speeds
*TAS speed strats infestifes*
The longest part of each level is having to listen to the level complete fanfare every time
I miss the Flash Era...
Same.
I'm making some gameplays for flash games on my extra channel. 😉
I played this a lot when I was younger
But I was so bad at it that I've never beaten it
God bless whoever made Flashpoint so i can experience games like these again
Walls are a choice
LOL i love this comment
"Thank Y"
i have just watched the first 14 seconds, WHY IS THE GLITCH SO FUNNY LOOOL I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THIS GAME HAS GLITCHES LIKE THAT
Peach doesn't have any hands.
2:14 "Thank y"

this sure is one of the video games ever made
You are wrong. There have been made a lot of video games.
@@NullScar That does not prove him wrong. It doesn't deny the fact that Super Mario Flash is truly one of the videogames ever made.
@@aweirdoschannel Right, I was just mocking the fact (I am assuming) that he might have forgotten to insert some word; like for example “greatest”. 😅 But, yeah, you are right.
@@NullScar this is one of the comments of all time
@@NullScar It's on purpose.
...and of course it's already obsoleted. I swear whenever we finish a TAS of this game it becomes obsolete immediately lmao (this is the 3rd or 4th time it's happened)
Collision? What is THAT?
If you know that game, you had a good childhood
I played so much flash games back then
Jesus Christ... Well that was a fun watch, whatever the hell that block trick was. Loved this game as a kid tho.
Its an glitch that boosts the character's speed that occurs, when jumping while crounching towards an block, and stand up on a conner...
@@IvanFranco120 Ohh I remember hearing about this way back when, interesting.
@@theultimategamer95 Yeah, i tried this, but only got zippped a bit...
what a definetly legit epic speedrun
Mario Maker before Mario Maker
TRUE, lol. 😅
I played this one when little, and remember thinking that the level design on level 4 was trash and i stopped playing, not because i couldn't pass it but because i thought it was ugly... at the time i was fascinated by youtube videos going by the title of "SMW Custom Level".
this would've been a lot more boring if there was a better speed cap
Certified hood classic
2:24 wait, that's illegal.
illegal but a life saver. imagine you couldn't hit them with fire, the game would be harder than lost levels probably
@@aweirdoschannel I doubt it, as they would be stompable.
They are fire-vulnerable in this game, indeed. That's a benefit over the classic Super Mario Bros. games.
@@Emerald_Shell That's not a benefit. By doing that, you completely take their distinctiveness away. They are no different than koopas at that point.
@@BradCorrupts Forgive me. The thing I wanted to convey is that it's easier to kill them. Yellow and blue Koopas from Super Mario World wouldn't be that useful if they had no other purpose than the green and red ones (respectively), also in connection with Yoshi.
Me and all of my friends would play this so much when we were in the 6th grade lol
I hate how you couldn't get the final version of bowser in level select
Holy shit I remember when my dad put me on the computer and had me playin' this
Weird as it sounds I could NEVER get passed "Level 1" as little lad
Also kinda weird as it sounds is that THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN THE LOST LEVELS!
How does that bug still exist?
oh my... this game... Used to spend the whole day playing the custom levels. I even made some back in the day when my brain still worked and had some creativity.
I played the second game more often though...
Just checked and the website doesn't exist anymore, it's now a completely different one. It was most likely not renewed and someone else got it. rip.
I grew up with flash. Too bad its discontinued.
You can still revive it with swf files
BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint has a lot, and I mean a *lot* of flash games on it
俺たちのスーパーマリオメーカー
mom: we have smb at home
smb at home:
0:42 and 2:59 - Nice rhythm lol.
NES games: You can do a flag pole glitch.
Flash games: You can't do a flag pole glitch.
The Flagpole glitch is not posible in this version, due of different engine
2:16 thank y
these glitches are not possible this tas is making me question my sanity
👍
wow
hacks?
How do you do those "zips"?!
Crounching onto an edge of the block while as big form and press the opposite direction.
waiting for red ball tas
Just watch the ones on more maximum.
Next game: infinite mario
i know is this is tas speed is cheat but how you did this speed?
