In this video I share how I started my vegetable garden in containers on my patio/balcony! If you don't have yard space to plant a vegetable garden (maybe you have a small space or live in an apartment), I hope that this video gives you patio garden ideas instead! Growing vegetables in pots can be a little tricky, so I'll keep you updated on the progress of my balcony garden!

So cute! Thanks for the inspo. You may want to separate your veggies to one plant per container and use a 5 gallon or larger container. Broccoli grows huge and peppers need space as well, 2 pepper plants can fit in a 5 gallon container.

I’m growing spinach, beets, tomatoes, peppers, corn, watermelon, okra, zucchini, radish, carrots, cucumbers, rosemary and some other things that I can’t seem to recall at the moment. 😜

Your decked-out plant stand looks adorable. Have you had any issues with overcrowding in the potted plants? Some veggies can spread out almost overnight and need slot of space once they start producing.
I haven’t had any issues yet but do plan to repot when they get crowded.

If it gets good light it should be perfect!
Some veggies need direct sun and you may have to hand pollinate. Even on a balcony hand pollination may be necessary if there aren't any bees or ladybugs, ect, around.
