Have built several Tamiya 1/16 scale tanks. Lots of paint! But I really appreciate how easy it is to see the parts. Was getting tired of microscopic parts on 1/35 scale.
Can't even imagine - one heck of a kit! Thanks for the review, the build should be epic 👍
Look forward to the build video(s)!
Yeah, probably going to split them up unit several seasons 😂😂😏
What a beast! Display this panther and the 1/16 king tiger together and you’ll have one incredible show piece!!
so finally the waiting is over. Hope to lay my hands on this kit this month (early Christmas). Thanks Andy!!
Huge model, I can't wait to see you building it.
Just when you swore off full interior kits, the mother of all full interior kits! Good luck on your sanity Andy!
2,300 parts!
Might as well build a real one. :- ]
A wise man once said: "Nothing exceeds like excess."
It's all tracks
@@Blackbirdsims It must come with every possible cleat and snow grouser option.
RIP the final drive.
Thanks Andy, nice review. Got mine today and looking forward to building it. 👍
Good vid as always , looking forward to the build on this one Andy!
After seeing your video and the amazing interior detail just ordered one.
I cant see Andy, hear him talking, just cant see him, where are ya Andy!! LOL Over 2300 parts, wow, what kit!!
Looks like an amazing kit! Hope you build it soon. I am in Mesa and may stop by your shop sometime :)
The 1/16 Panther G looks like a great chellenge, Thanks for the reveiw, Andy.
Can't wait to see this build...
Cant wait to see this built.
Glad that two gun shields are provided. Nice variety.
This Panther Ausf G looks terrific! Thanks for your video, Andy. I really appreciate this.
Hi Andy. Great review, and an incredible kit. If you want an awsome way to display it, and double the work it will take, look at this kit. Its a cut-away of a fully detailed interior of a 1/35th scale panther. It is made by Rye Field Models, and the stock # is RMF-5019. Both the hull and the turret are cut open, and would be a great point of reference for doing this on a 1/16 scale Panther. My biggest question in doing it is how do you cut the hull and turret without destorying the pieces ???
there are 1/16 Panther aftermarket ready made metal tracks intened for rc but will fit this if you don't fancy building the plastic ones :)
The tank kit is insanely huge!!
Love those suitcase boxes for a model and boxes within boxes... it signifies huge-ness...
Thanks for sharing. Awesome kit loving this😉👍🤓
Thank goodness you’re going to build it! It’ll give me courage to start my 3 1/16 Trumpeter kits with full interior (T-34/76; T-34/85; Tiger II). Lord beer me strength.
The tiger II is great but It dose have some flaws mostly that main gun and the parts that allow it to move it's just bad design and weak parts
I received mine yesterday. The box is huge and heavy. I now wait for Andy to start the build to build mine.
Dear Santa...
What an awesome kit, ready for superdetailing and a build period of a couple months?!
Only downside with these "full interior" kits is the conundrum of how on earth you display the interior the best way at the cost of not having a complete model, or if you slap it together when done and just remember everything inside... I really, really want one!!!
Just when I thought might get laid this year ...
I got laid twice boom !
This is much cheaper - and lasts way longer... :p
Awesome. I rather build then get laid at my age LoL
@@troyfritz5857 What age is that, twelve or seventy-nine? :)
@@zachhan5038 Either.
After seeing your review of this kit, I liked it so much, I ordered one. It’s going to be a fun one. Thank you for having this channel it’s help me a lot with models.
Brandon, Where did you get it...and if i may ask how much actually - total
Danny Herron, I got it from scale hobbyist.

Mein Gott Andy shrunk in the wash
DARKNUT 96 - 😂👌
Indeed. This is really a 1/72 scale panther.
Hi Andy. A most impressive kit I must say. Over here in Australia, it'll be way over your countries retail price.
Great review Andy👍 Can't wait for the build video.
That's 1 BIG DOG Andy n I Guessed the Price Too !! Thanks for the Great Review Sir, God Bless All
1/16 tanks are the perfect size imo
Sleepy .Time easy to find parts on carpet :D
AT LAST! That’s what I want for my BD!!! Thick plastic for hull and turret parts maybe for armor thickness in scale? 80mm of frontal armor is 5mm in 1/16 scale. Very exited about it. I’ve build full interior tiger and t-34-85 in 1/16 and MUST get that panther!
good luck and have fun
Hi Andy, tank RUclips ery much for this review. After a long waiting time & decided me to take this "big challenge". Till now my Panthers were only 1/35 & 1/25 😉. Alter visit the Panzer Museum Munster and see the Panther live (you know what I mean, you was there too), it is really impresive. I decided me to build this hughe Model. I love the Panther tank. Congratulations for your channel, all the best!
i think its right time you show us a video about this beast
Im all ready building my 1/16 scale panzer iv kit and i cant wait to get a ppanther to build
cant wait for the build video
I need to see that beast builded!
No way could you have that kit sitting on the shelf and wonder what's inside. A lot of fun for the person with the skill to do it up right. 👍😀
Yet another one I need to save up for. Also noticed something. There appears to be a clear part or two that hints at an Infrared scope option. The large round and small round part on the clear sprue next to each other look like the parts dragon used on their old 1/35 night fighting panther.
I'm building the panther now it's going to take some time the road wheels need to be hand sanded to fit some hiccups you need to each for.
Finally bought one of these the late version.
Great Job. I want this kit.
Man, that thing is a BEAST!
Looking forward the building vid...4 or 5!
This is definitely a build for the summer
Good lord that is a bigg’un! Man that oughta be cool, very cool! Thanks Andy! 👍👍✌🏻I’m gonna have to ask Santy Claus for one of those! Yes indeedy! Doug H
Pretty good video review of that monster of a model. When you start to build it, can you do a size comparison to 1:35 and/or 1:48 Panther tanks..like some of the main parts. Its hard to really imagine how big this bad boy is. Thanks.
Nice kit my first 1 16 was the king tiger with full interior i was building it in 11 months and im still not finished the panther is my next or the jagdtiger
Insane kit!
I’m about to start the HobbyBoss 1/16 Tiger I. I feel like this kit would take a year to finish!
Man I can't wait to see this being built Andy. Any ideas when that might be?
We want to see you build it brother!
Andy you know you can use the Taigan/ Heng Long metal tracks for this since they have panther models in 1/16
This one's right up your alley!
I neeeeeeeed this in my life!
An awesome build.
Thinking off getting one of these giant trumpeter kits as I love armour, will have to make up my mind which one i will get.😊
15:35 that's a part where the empty shells fell into:)
I have the Panzer IV, T34/85, M16, Jagdtiger all ready to build so I need to add this one to my collection.
please do a 2nd part, i really wanna see the finished model!
I wonder how many of these 1/16 kits with interior actually get built. It is a huge commitment and needing to order your paint and glue by the gallon would make me reconsider my purchase. 😁
@@sweettee7624 well I've built Trumpeter King tiger ,t-34/85 ,t34 1942 ,panzerivJ.and classy hobbys Luchs...all complete builds ..each tales about a year
So many tiger and panther kits being released this year.
I wanna get this kit so bad I'm going to be scratch building a full interior for it and I'm gonna take the top engine deck plating and turret top plating recast them in clear resin!
Finishing up the hobby boss 1/16 Tiger tank. 1/16 is from now on probably the only size i will do. Much more of a pleasure to work with. (Im lazy so its probably just me).
No, its the size factor. You look at it and realize you just built a beast
Грандиозный набор!!! Мечта любого моделиста!❤
Monolithic Model,Thax Andy great vid.
Great video!
I've built or am building both Takom 1-35th King Tiger and Panther with full interiors...do the 1/16th scales for Trumpeter have the hull to the tub mating issues as Takom's 1/35 scales?
I fell in love with the das werk stug….. erm 😍😂
No MG for the commander's hatch even though it's on the box art?
Impressive kit! Looking forward to your build video.
Just finished a Mini Art kit, can’t be as bad as that.
2300+ parts inside... !!! I´m speechless.
Hey Andy quick question. Will restore gloss coat fog a clear roof?
Is their an optional Turret Ring Stand for 1 /16 Tanks ? IF not it shouldnt be too hard to construct one to show the interior
Great!
when you build this??
That's on the bucket list.
own a rc 1/16 tamiya panther, but this looks great for static..
Thanks Andy, nice kit, but no armor texture on the exterior, looks like Trumpeter just upscaled a 1/35 kit. They could have also offered brass ammunition rounds either in the kit or as an accessory, and the side sheilds look a little flimsy. I like that the kit has a metal barrel and rubber for the wheels, which is a nice touch. Also the welding looks a little weak, will have to rescribe with Tamiya epoxy putty, to bring out the realism in this scale. I think I will wait and see if Trumpeter produces A Jadgpanther version in this scale. Anyway, good job, thanks for opening the box, and keep up the good work.
Hey Andy hows the build going? I want to get myself one of those
Btw is that a Jagdpanzer E-100 on the right?
unrelated to the actual video, Is the M60A1 a new kit also?
Really Big Panther !!!
Hi, nice :) soo little cute tank :D
So, it's a perfect grade equivalent?
The trumpeter panther late version kit only has steel wheels, I’d prefer rubber. So, can this be built into a late version? It has the chin mantle, what about crew heater?
huh, strange, I swear, the G variant of the panther had a lower flat turret cheek that solved the other panther variants problem of shot trapping. You can search up the G model, and the turret cheek would show having a slightly angled flat part that prevented shot trapping.
Reminds me of the Takom model
Is there aftermarket Zimmerit available for this kit?
Hi Andy what can i say....i am impressive you always present us model kits very very beautiful...how doest it cost ? Is it findable in France or europe ? Waouh what à kit
When you build this model ?
Waiting for hoy yo build It Up ASAP!!!!!!!😃
I consider these kits to be the holy grail of all model kits!Im building a 1/16 king tiger and I’m amazed !
Add that to the stash of kits you'll start but never finish.
did Andy ever do a video showing how to build this thing?
Holy crap! That model is huge! Not a plastic kit modeler, I had no idea they made them that big. What's the price on something like that?
400$ he said.
I need that in my life !!!!!
Honey I think we should the modeller!
