DRL's are off during the day (not a required in UK) and come-on with the headlights. I'm not aware of a Tech2 option for programming the BCM/DRL's or anything other than radio and key-fob functions, although GM may be able to. It seems to be a popular discussion point. It's interesting because DRL's are required in Canada, and mine was imported from Canada, so maybe it was a factory set-up item?
@@hummerfixes yes, sounds like DRL is North American option. Allot of owners switch the 7" headlight to LED and use DRL wiring to LED accent pieces like Mercedes G-class ring around the headlight.
