Jason, you are right on new leaking stainless lines. I built a 67 Fairlane 500XL and ordered a stainless line kit from a manufacturer in N. Ohio. I've installed miles of mild steel brake lines and never had trouble with leaks. The stainless kit was built well and the flairs were beautiful from the manufacturer. I had a leak on every joint and feared breaking the connecting nuts. I called the manufacturer and his response was golden. " Son, you've got to crank em' down like you hate em". I took his advise and it worked. lol.
Yes sir tighten em up! It really pained me to have all those leaks on the mustang I build because that fluid was getting on all my newly painted parts. Hopefully, we won't have any issues on the Bronco. Thanks for watching!
I'm glad your working on stopping. To go is great, but the stopping is better. It's beginning to look like a vehicle more and more every day. I'm a enginerd also, but electronics. Can I remember anything, no, a nerd just the same...lol God Bless
You are right Jack we need to stop too. She is just teasing because she knows I like to come up with different ways to do things. Thanks again my friend.
I will never use stainless in any plumbing unless I have to. It's so hard to work with and it's a pain to stop leaks - even when you tighten the devil out of them. I even dread machining stainless since it's all or nothing because it work hardens so fast... I use copper nickel for brake lines too - so easy to work with - and it looks cool.
What's the junction T-fitting called at 8:06 where the two rear hard lines come together? Sorry for the boneheaded question... this is my first restoration :-)
That is the rear flex brake hose. It is made together. You can buy them from most suppliers in rubber or braided line. There are no bad questions. Good luck on your build. Contact us anytime.

Jason, I know you’ve taken a break, I hate to bother you, I’ve been using your videos to help me along on my Bronco, I’m on to brake lines and was wondering where you bought the flair kit, or the model # on it, thank you
Great video, ya the stainless brake lines are a pain , but I guess I'm lucky they never leaked on me. The tires look great, one question is your bronco uncut ,I don't remember. I run 33x12.50x15 on a 8 inch rim and my 74 is cut front and back with a 3.5 inch lift. I know a lot of people seem to run 31x10.50x15 on a 2.5 inch lift uncut bronco, and it still looks tight.
Thanks! Well I guess the cat is out of the bag. I am going to cut it. I know the trend is uncut but I have a look in my head I am going for. I don't want to lose subscribers because I cut it but it is what Jonie and I both want.
@@JasonJonieBuilds Ok now the tires make sense. I always tell my kids, if everyone did the same thing, this world would be boring. My son painted a 1985 trans am and everyone wanted him to paint it the original color , two tone blue. He painted it a beautiful metal flake gun meatal gray. You guys are doing awesome video's keep them coming.
Man, this video was an absolute life saver for a guy building an early bronco that knows little to nothing about brake line. THANK YOU!
Thanks for watching. We really appreciate it.

Can't wait for the motor install and finally when the body goes on.... excited and anticipating
That video should be up Monday. We installed it last weekend and hope to work on exhaust later today or tomorrow. Thanks!

That’s a fancy flaring tool! Much better quality than the one I got. Lol
Thanks. I really like it. We appreciate you watching.

Yes sir. I think everyone should try fixing leaking stainless lines once. LOL
Moral of the story is get 16 in wheels
I guess so but I like the old school look.

Hello Jorge! Thanks for watching in Panama. Do you want to keep the 6 cylinder engine or swap to V8?
Jason, I know you’ve taken a break, I hate to bother you, I’ve been using your videos to help me along on my Bronco, I’m on to brake lines and was wondering where you bought the flair kit, or the model # on it, thank you
So did you just plug the lower outlet on the proportioning valve (that would otherwise to to the RF corner)?

Thanks man. Yes I believe in making it what you want. I bet the Trans Am looks great too.
Nevermind that was a dumb question after I thought about it.
It never hurts to ask questions. Thanks for watching.
I noticed you put the raised white letters on the inside....Why ?
I wanted the blacked out look. I have a picture in my head of what it is going to look like. Hopefully it will look like I want it too.
