    Jason and Jonie, Since it has been a few years since you built this kit, I would like to know if you still stand by your decision to install the axle snap ring. I assume you have had some time to test it out, in 4WD and 2WD. Any issues? I tend to agree with you, I am not sure why Tom's instructions say to delete the ring. Thanks! I use your channel regularly as a resource while I am building my '75.

      Dispose of the diesel fuel and fill it with proper mixed fuel. Pump the fuel bubble several times to circulate the fuel through the lines and carburetor. If the carb is in good shape, you should be able to just start it normally. Good luck.

    I can't believe some if the choices that you made plumbing in that exhuast. 1) why didn't you use all stainless. A set of stainless mufflers are cheaper if the life of the product is taken into consideration. 2) why did you sacrifice how the install looks over how it fits. You could have rotated the mufflers outward on the top, placeing the tubing farther away from the fuel tank...even spacing the mufflers further outward on the hanger, giving more clearance for the gas tank. I really like you solution for the header to transmission clearance...very well done.

    • @JasonJonieBuilds
      @JasonJonieBuilds 3 месяца назад

      1) I got a deal on the exhaust. Saved money on marketplace. 2) I liked how it looked. Everyone has a way of doing things. I am not saying mine is correct, but it was the way I wanted it at the time. There are always things you can make better but I chose to keep moving forward so I could finish the project. Thanks for watching.
