I tried the Ctrl alt dlt and nothing happened. Then I thought let me restart the computer and try it again and… It worked!! Thanks a million! Now I can reminisce on all my old photos! 😊

What do i do if administrator doesnt work im getting frustrated even if i go through safe mode with command prompt it ask me again password i put in administrator and it stil doesnt work so they might have added a password to administrator

Im trying to get all the files, which have sentimental value, copied onto a external hard drive but the computer wont let me use it bc my account is limited. My dad is admin but he cant remember his password (its been like 8 years) but we do NOT want to lose anything. Is there anything i can do from a limited account that doesnt run the risk of losing files when trying to find or reset the admin password?

Yes when I looked into this I was shocked how easy it is with the default setup

This is easyer than the mthods I use to use back in the day.
It can get complex if that administrator password is in place.

Doesn't work, still asks for a password in safe mode and doesn't give you access to control panel even if no Admin password has been set
