SEPOS looks very similar to the first orchid show I went to last month in CT (Nutmeg State) except for the flower arranging and native orchid display (47:47).
It was a nice surprise to see J&L there, but I definitely would have bought some orchids from Taida if I was there. 😁
I repotted my new Younghome Phal from White Plains Orchids on Thursday. It went from moss to a bark mix with a little sphagnum moss and coconut chips so now I just have the fun part of keeping it hydrated. 😵💫
When you go to those kind of shows, you should wear a shirt that promotes your channel. 😆
The show was amazing! Many repeat vendors, but a few really fantastic vendors from Taiwan made it extra special! I bought quite a few plants! And Taida is amazing! They have incredible phals! I think you should be in good shape with the younghome. They are more forgiving than we give credit! :) Thanks for the support always, Joe!

I would check out orchidwire.com to see who is close by! A few of my favorite California nurseries include Andy’s Orchids, Sunset Valley Orchids and Paph Paradise!

We were there yesterday but I didn't want to bother you again! LOL. You did a great job capturing this show and we saw things on your video that we couldn't while we were there!😂 We thought getting there on Friday at Noon it wouldn't be crowded! Nope, we were wrong! Keep up the great content!!

Someone please tell me, how all these beautiful orchids are not afflicted with false spider mites. I can’t get rid of the spider mites in my collection! 100+ orchids. I treated the plants and then noticed yesterday the mites have moved to munching on roots. I can’t get any more orchids until I figure this out. Amazing how healthy and beautiful these orchids are. Wish I knew how they do it. Thanks for showing all the beautiful orchids
I’m sorry to hear about the spider mites. I’m not an expert on pest prevention but i grow my orchids with good air flow and tend to spray with Safer insecticide spray if I see any bugs. I do that once a week for a month to make sure they’re all dead. I haven’t had any issues yet aside from a few mealy bugs on the plants that may get a little neglected. Good luck and hope you can kick those mites out!

Wow, what a show! I wish I was there with a lot of spending money! 🤣 Did you buy any orchids while you were there? I could have spent $200 easily at Wilson Orchids alone! Thanks for showing us everything.

It would be great if they put a bit more emphasis on the most useful orchids, the Vanilla orchids.
