little tip, after using a funnel stuff paper towel or rags in the big part and stand upright. less mess
rprovasoli thanks man. Yeah they are messy. At work I let them drain in a oil bottle but here I don’t have that luxury lol
how much did it take? manual says 8.4 for a change and a capacity of 10.1 ounces. mine is at 12 ounces and still has not dripped out?
Hey thanks for the video. Getting ready to do my first service on my cf600 touring. I've never changed differential oil. Pretty basic, but appreciate it nonetheless. I picked up some long reach funnels, so I think I'm good to go now. Thanks again!

what is the cause when it blows oil back through the vent hose on the rear grear box houseing
500s quad... might have me doin. My quads now lol same service oil n diffs at 300 roughly

Don’t mind doing it myself just to lazy to figure out what I need and where to buy want to do amsoil like u did for sure but need enough to do both quads same time

Hi mate! What tool size is need to open the plugs? No body tell it and my set doesn’t have that size… don’t want to buy bunch of tools to find out the right size :)
Man ur diff was easy to access mine was a pain in the ash to get to I had the zforce z6ex

RedNeck Garage the back of your machine where the dif is is way diferente than mine my machine is very Constricted in that area also the drain plug FOR the engine oil looked to de in a diferente spot mine is directly on the bottom like a car

My manual for front diff says 8.4 oz the rear diff is 13.5 oz. When I did my ZForce 950 HO EX it took a full quart to do both front and back. 32 oz vs 23 oz. So who’s right? The manual or what every RUclipsr does?

@@R.N.GPerformance them damn cubicle guys. Get out in the real world. In the manual it calls for 75-90 GL5 lube for the tranny. I used mobile 1 LS full synthetic. Is that going to be ok manual said any 75-90 GL5 lube.
Could you do a video of changing the transmission fluid and what type of fluid to use
Our machines don’t have a transmission fluid it built in to engine. What machine do you have?

can you say what year it is is it the same for a 2015 800?
You can cross reference part numbers on alpha sports mine is a 19. If you have the same diffs witch I’m sure you do you will be fine.

I did exactly that. Way more than the 11oz the manual calls for
Chuck Vancour the new service manual actually calls for 400ml but its much easier to fill to threads like the original service manual says. I would rather have a little over then a little under.
RedNeck Garage I’m at 550ml and still not at threads on zforce 500??
