    Maybe she’ll start slowly and develop into something special. Probably won’t be linsanity right away, but what if she’s just really good ( top ten) instantly. Then we all may be patient and stay hooked.

    I don't understand the Jimmer Fredette/Caitlin Clark efficiency comparison. Clark shot .462 at Iowa, Fredette shot .455 at BYU. Clark was more efficient than Fredette was.

    I personally have been a basketball fan on all my life, and I was consider myself better than the average Joe blow, I feel Kaitlyn Clark has her flaws, but she is still an outstanding athlete, and I believe a winner, do I think she is the greatest one? She definitely is in the top three and I believe she will become the greatest of all time

      I think he's getting at the point that she is a great player but the league she is going into is not great, so question needs to be asked and it will be seen if she can answer it; is she going to be enough of an x factor for the wnba for wnba for her to be remembered or will the league make her become irrelevant cause of its inadequacies

    That knockout style format of NCAA tournament ensured her games were must watch, as every outing could have been your last chance to see her at collegiate level. I’m not certain how many of those who say they will continue to support her and have ever watched a WNBA game , but it’s very different to the NCAA. The lack of atmosphere really does make it harder to watch. if the stadiums are full stadium, there is potential for long-term popularity , otherwise and I hope I’m wrong but I can’t see this level of enthusiasm lasting half a season

    I think what you are failing to realize is that the WNBA is not trying to get the men to watch them, it is the women they are aiming for. Men are the ones that mainly watch sports. And let's be honest, the majority of men have no desire to watch the WNBA. So, they want to give women a chance to see someone that they can relate to. A straight, not tatted up female. In other words, wholesome. Look at Simone Biles, and ask, "What do Caitlin Clark and Simone Biles have in common? The answer is, they are wholesome. So now they just need to make sure they keep the women's attention

    Caitlin is many magnitudes better than Tebow. She will be an All-Star and massively popular in Indiana. No, the WNBA will never be huge, for, as always, most men and straight women won't watch in big numbers unless Caitlin is playing. Like when golf ratings doubled for Tiger's tournsments.

    When Gottlieb talks sports only i tend to agree with him. I'll watch Caitlin Clark first few games for sure but if the NBA, NFL or College Football is on, I won't be tuning in. As far as the rest of the WNBA goes, I've tried it in the past and I always wind up falling to sleep

    What woman sport is like really huge for everyone on this planet? Like that sport atract men and woman's to watch it constantly?
    Aside of big country competition tournament like Olympics and World competition. No one watch woman club football, club, volleyball, handball, not even tennis that had amazing players in the past like Williams sisters, Sharapova, Lindsey Devanport. You dont watch it all the time.

    Would there be this much Caitlin mania if she were black. I watched the final and saw her miss a lot of 3’s while the game was still within reach. 0-2 in the finals. I don’t see the big deal. Girls basketball is almost unwatchable. I was thinking an All-Star boys high school team could beat South Carolina.

    NBA product is terrible. Puertorican league is way better and the european league is better it's not even close. Yesterday I was watching the lakers game and it's unwatchable. Watching rules being broken on every play is crazy. I turn the tv off and started to watch on my phone the PUERTORICAN league and im watching Real basketball. It's not even close. The only thing the nba is great at is paying players. Who ever disagrees, just don't watch other basketball leagues or just d*mb.
