Anyone knows what setup is he using for looping in swing? Also what that little black thing attached to the guitar under the strings that he hits while strumming?
The black thing is probably some tape.. He uses it to achieve a certain sound when covering one third of the hole with tape :) His technique is what makes him so unique, the beat sounds you hear come from his right hand
This guy always stuck with the exact same style for YEARS. I would be curious to see him play some rock n roll. :)

This is such a strange comment.. I'm often surprised at how other peoples minds work. Why would he change his style? His style - the one he clearly loves playing and has perfected and feels comfortable with? I mean I guess there are some artists who completely switch up their styles over time, but that is the exception.. There are enough rock'n'roll bands out there aren't there? But he is the only one doing what he does and I love it.

@@palmareal13 I said it because i would love to see artist grow and progress? Look at The Beatles.. Look at Led Zep.. Pink Floyd.. the main reasons why legendary bands are legendary is for that reason. I would just be curious to hear a different style is all.
@@rupman27isback the last 2 of his albums have influences from African guitar and Desert blues. I am a big fan but sometimes I wish he experimented more.
