‘Living Thirst Trap’ and ‘Ugly to Daddy Mode’ got me 😂 That’s a perfect way to visualize what I need to double down on. No one cares about what you know (skill wise) they care how you make them feel.
Biggest takeaway is that barbers shouldn’t be focused on impressing others just to look cool, but instead working on their business to attract new higher paying clients that need their problem fixed💰
i found most value in u saying i need to stop thinking like a barber 💈 and think like a consumer on what the client wants witch doc has nobody wants to se what the lever and guards do the want to see what you can make them look like and do for them while they are in your chair like making them look attractive and leave them feeling confident and once you can find that and build the demand you have your bread and butter for making money 💰
What I took the most from this is that us as barbers need to be more locked into focus on one subject, the money maker for us, build that section of our flow to the highest potential to be able to legitimately stabilize and be able to then safely branch out into our other sections of what we’re trying to do. Focus on the money maker, zone it in to the max potential, then move further in other directions once in a safe stance! 🎯
Biggest takeaway is that barbering and the barbering business are two different things. Barbering is simply cutting hair while the business is thinking about what clients/viewers want. Once you get a consumer mindset and what they like you will takeover the game.
Biggest take away is to remember the 80/20 rule in the business to begin attracting higher paying clients for within what the barber is already good at. Understanding the game your entering and what rules to follow is essential. Know your opponents and focus on your clients problems. Know how and when to attack in order to win and break through. Track your inflow and outflow of clients and your income and outcome. Don't guess on pricess or marketing actually build and scale. Maintain focus on one thing to have your concrete foundation for the next step.
BOOM Biggest Takeaway has been to simply get out of the mindset of “Thinking like a barber “ when in reality we aren’t here to impress other barbers but to impress our clients ! Our clients can care less about the equipment we use etc… they care about the transformation we’re going to give them ! Also to use social Media to our advantage ! We must have to stand out from the way we do our content ! Be consistent but be creative in these steps ! 1. Play the Game/ a understand the rules 2.know your opponent ! 3 Last but not least attack / timing .
Me as a female barber I’m constantly trying to make sure all round skills are good so guys don’t question me and I don’t have the Confidence I have a lot more confidence and my cuts are fire but I’m going to focus on the one thing more
the biggest takeaway from this was the power of content an multiple social media. I usually use Instagram to try and market myself, but with luck advice, and the path docdami laid out, I'm definitely going to up my content and use more than one social media.
My guy! You won the giveaway! DM me your Venmo or Zelle info to the company Ig account @neweraofbarbering (only bc my dlucs_ account has too many DM’s flooding)
Triple down on what you’re good at instead of trying to improve what you suck at! Stop thinking like a barber! Stand out in a crowded market place. Master the business foundation before moving on to the next level.
Biggest take away: Stop thinking like a barber on social media. Clients can care less about all that shit, they just want to know what result our product, a haircut, is going to give them.
Biggest takeaway, we need to join your private course . Seriously though , changing your mindset on Tiktok content to target people to show them VALUE and let the value speak for themselves
