So many of those cages were amazing! My first guinea pig I ever had was in a storebought cage, and he was in that for a month or two before I got a new one. Looking back now I feel so horrible that he had to live like that, but I still have him now (my old baby🥺)and he and his buddies live in their huge c and c cage. great video 💕🐹💕
I had mine in one. But honestly, he didn't seem bothered. I think he was just happy to leave PetSmart. He popcorned in there & did his laps even. Not that he's that much bigger now but I can't even mentally pic how small he was being in there. & He still has the sweeter personality. Sometimes I do question if he would've been just fine being by himself. But the other half of me would've always questioned what if? So I got the bigger cage & him a friend. & I don't feel as bad when I leave him for work. Even tho they're both boys & enjoy bugging each other.

7:45 you know guinea pigs can jump right!? My pig would’ve hoped over that fence so easily and escaped
Zaria Parsons they hadn't jump over that because instead of a flat wall it's a fence so it's basically broken up into little pieces. The also won't be able to jump over it because the top of the fence goes up and down.

I made a cage out of some racks I found at Lowe's. My boys have a huge cage. But sometimes I think of making it smaller & adding a second level. But I never know w/ them. They've never fought hard but they love bugging each other & don't always listen to me. They did all day today, so I split em up - again. I noticed my tamer one went back to his routine of sleeping outside his hidey house 😍🤗. I miss his casual cutesy moments. But I want them to get along too. So if I even bothered w/ a second level, I still need for them to get along. Unless I can create a 2nd level for both of them, split, w/ out taking up a ridiculous amount of space

I just built my piggies a 2 x 5 C & C cage, and I’ve never been happier! Installing the second level tomorrow.
I originally bought them a rabbit’s cage at the pet store, which is significantly bigger than a Guinean pig cage there, but still too small (27 in. x 14 in.). I also used paper bedding, which made a huge mess and was incredibly gross. They were so dirty.
Now, they’re popcorning and playing all the time. They’re on Guineadad fleece and love it. And their hay rack is huge! Thanks for all your guidance and info, you saved my piggies overall happiness.

I have 2 for my guinea pigs and they go in their cardboard boxes, then they grab it with their teeth and make a pillow! Its' the cutest thing in the world!!!!!!!!!

Aaaahhh I wanted to send in my piggy paradise for part 2 but then I took too long making the little photoshoot (I wanted it to look super nice and clean of course)
My piggies reside within a kiddie pool ;) with those tiny wooden fences for your garden, placed outside of the pool, to make for a piggy labyrinth
Got a 15 my 3 piggies they have so much space to run around so many hides to sleep and hide in I’m happy with it

This is very helpful because I’m trying to make a new cage for my piggy’s there baby’s now but for when they grow more
At 4:45 the hide house the person has is what I have and my piggies love it. They really like going up top and looking around. I would definitely recommend it. I found mine at TSC if you know we're that is.

i just got my second pig 3 days ago Watching this video made me realize i have a reallllly small cage for them thx
I put my piggies in the bathtub once a month but I make sure that it is a. lukewarm so my piggies don't get burned and b. that only their paws are submerged and even then they aren't fully in. I fill the bath tub up so it just barely covers one of my bath towels and they both love it. They think of it as playtime in a clean puddle

The corner house is big enough for both my piggies. I have a second hidey but they never use it. They are always in the house together so I tend to only put it in there.
When I use the Guinea Dad liner they stay in the pocket and I use the willow branch tunnel then. But my girls may be exceptions.

Both my new 9 week old guinea pig started to chew a bought store basket hide I had to throw it away as I think the box was treated with a clear varnish. Then put a card board box in as a hide and both started to eat this. I have now ordered a wooden hidey

I am Building a chicken coop for my guinea pigs and I put them in it and I love it so much and I used to have a store-bought cage for them and then I realized after a couple months it was too small
Yeah. As guinea-pigs age, ramps can become a problem, one of my guinea pigs lives alone (she never used to, she randomly became really aggressive toward her roommate and started random attacks) she’s eight, and it wasn’t until I started bringing her inside more over the winter when I realised quite how stiff she was. Usually, over the summer months, I put her in the run on my patio with a hide and blanket to wear down her nails) and I see her struggle just trying to jump over something. I can’t help but feel sorry.

9:24 hold up... recently, my local charity store picked up a cage that looked just like that... I picked it up in case of a piggie emergency. I like to keep it around for if there’s a storm due that night and I know that the pigs won’t cope outside. I keep it for if one of the pigs get sick and need to be quarantined... etc etc
Yh it's alright as a temporary cage for like emergancys
What my guinea pig does is she runs around the cage really fast and stirs up all of the bedding lol
