- so i had a coolant leak, i then investigated it and found out that the issue was the thermostat & thermostat housing, so i replaced it all

how your compartment holds battery not got the 3 screws to hold it, i cannot get these out ????
@@annlowrie8250 i did remove a few bolts to get it out though. what problems are you facing?
Did you change the thermostat because the tempature was rising up 120gr?
Mine mini cooper goes to 120 after 5minutes.its the thermostat or waterpump i think. Or......
@@aajs2317 i changed mine because it was leaking.. in your case it could potentially be the thermostat by the sounds of it.
Mauby also the radiateur, or head asked.(It does not smoke White)
I change next week the thermostat, radiateur and heat sensor.
I hope this is the solution.

this is from 2002, but if yours is built from 2001 to 2006, it might have the same engine
it is too shaky video
i did mention on the video that i haven’t got a tripod, and it will be filmed in parts. doing this job with one hand filming, its difficult. but you can clearly see what i am doing.
Instead of buying a thermostat housing you should have invested in a tripod......
