@@HackerArmy03 no don't blame the hoi4 fans. The TommyKay channel is just being consistent with the videos and only do mostly do Paradox games because that's the Theme. Having inconsistent content actually decreases viewership. There is why Tommy has other channels dedicated to other contents. If you like paradox games then sub to main channel, if you like other content then sub to this channel. This isn't a war between bannerlord fans vs hoi4 fans, just have peace and chill out

this campaign is the most fun tommy is having playing a game since CK2 AGOT/Vikings

Tommy should install some quality of life mods like the RTS camera mod or the mod that lets you continue the battle when you die by making you play as a companion or a unit of choice.
And to continue my question from other videos, does tommy even know that there's first person view in the game? x)
I'm not sure what the tone he goes in his videos. It was the 1st one that I watched by just stumbling on it. I think playing as companion could be very nice, but RTS camera could ruin the grounded feel that this game has. I wish there were more games where you are not just a commander who for some reason has perfect view of the battlefield from safety - but instead you have to consider either participating, or standing in safety and issuing commands. Or both, but it is harder to multitask (like shown here).

idk if you look at the comments here but on one of your streams you said that troop limit is lame to have limited troop numbers in preferences you can set it to 1500 people default is 500 for not so powerful pcs best mount and blade streamer ever ( conversion mods have the limit removed at least in warband )

I tripped over this video and I'm loving the content😂 but I have a minor suggestion. Sheildwall is cool and all but when you're in that formation it essentially chamber blocks half your troops bc of their close proximity. If you wanna use that for cinematic effect but also charge head on, I reccomend returning to line formation as you tell your troops to charge.

@@jinstronda2571 geforce now is like a streaming service kinda thing. pretty much pay $10 a month and just connect your steam library and play the games that are in ur steam library. so like you still have to buy the game its just if ur computer cant run it then use geforce now. btw i have i5 9400f + 2060 + 16 gb of ram and my game runs like dogshit. you need a really good cpu for this game tbh the 2060 doesnt do shit (you also need atleast 16 gb of ram)

you should use shock infantry in your flank, or split your normal infantry, 1 charge in front, 1 hit them in the back, nice vid btw
Shield walls makes your army vulnerable when in close combat, release the shield wall when they are closee

The tactic with the shield wall (In this game) is wait until they come up in close range and deal a massive amounts of damage in the initial phase of the fight
Edit: When you put them to use shield wall in this game they dont priotize on attacking and only do Heavy defence so its rare to see kills

If you positioned your troops into a wedge formation at that gap and put your archers on the hill where you were. You would of won, after they engage your wedge have your cav do constant runs at behind 💀

These are just tips that I find could help in winning battles and staying alive so do with this as you wish. When using cavalry, do hit and runs. It’ll make it easier for you to not only stay alive but make sure your guys don’t get surrounded quickly. Plus the more speed you have the higher the damage, so if you get a spear on horseback, guaranteed kills.
When you’re on a biome with hills and you have those hills on you’re side of the map, stay put. Put the archers as high as they can go on the hill with your infantry near the beginning of the hill while still on it. Obi-Wan literally has proven the high ground is all you need. Granted you had a large army with your lords pushing forward, so have your cavalry do the hit and run option. When your allied armies clash with the enemy take your army and literally go to the enemy armies sides to trap them. The sides will always be weaker and even if they can hold you the side they aren’t looking at will give the ally AI to hit them and kill them.

Why make a shield wal to charge with your infantry in the last second everytime
A shield wall mostly just protects your guys from projectiles, it's not a good fighting formation but it's good to move your guys in close and then give them a charge command. It's extremely effective if you use the formation that way
@@Chronologger true but it is best to use cavalry to break enemy formation first and THEN charge with the shield wall
@@iplaygames8090 Yeah that's a good point, also shield wall is excellent at absorbing enemy cavalry charges.
@@Chronologger depends on how "deep" it is. A 1 deep wall is kinda shit against cavalry. But a 4+ deep is nigh unpenetrable.

@@unknow11712 You're wrong. It was a friendly AI on the horse to Tommy so he wouldn't be able to damage it even if he hit it unless he was using a ranged weapon. There is no melee friendly fire in singleplayer so he had to have hit the unit. It was a veteran skirmisher so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility it has a health pool that high.

You should keep your wife as a follower or a governor for your castle otherwise you have to pay for her troops which is expensive asf
a Reason why I can t be bothered with M&B2 got too Salty & Tired with how Aggresive but at the same time Weak each Empire/Kingdom Leaders was, too see & feel whatever you as the Hero Couldn t do or tried to do, it didn t even matter & your side lost 1 war vs 1 nation, but still deccide to fight all else, (Happens most of the time if I chose the Vlandians) same thing we see what happens in this, when you fight for Norse/Slavic Nation, happend few times for me asswell.

I just told Tommy on stream that he should get a 2nd PC for streaming so he’d stop crashing while playing CPU intensive games because he seemed to not know why this game was crashing AND I GOT BANNED. Jesus I think the new wave of hoi players/viewers is getting to his head and he just doesn’t care. It’s disappointing as he is who got me into HOI

Looters can do an oddly high amount of damage at times in bannerlord. Bannerlord looters are, in a sense, a lot more dangerous than the looters, aka exp grinders, in Warband.

It would be nice if tommy turned off useless hud, like kill/damage messages and the arrows showing directions of his attack. It would make it a lot more immersive. Also the emblems are pretty useless coz it's easy to recognize your troops by colour.
