Hi Nis, I have to tell you how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the 1939 Royal Arrow I purchased from you about five weeks ago. It is a thing of Beauty and a Joy to type on!!! The experience of purchasing typewriters from YOU has been a pleasure in every respect---your care and expertise are rare and precious qualities, thank you so very much!!!

It's always a joy to receive a note like this. Putting these machines back into working trim is satisfying in its own way, like solving a mechanical puzzle -- but nothing is better than knowing one of my projects has found a new chapter with an owner who appreciates it. Thank you.

I agree with you. After buying unsatisfactory and misrepresented machines for years on EBay, it's so comforting to know that purchasing from Nis means not only that these vintage and very complicated machines will be as expected, but also that if any little problem comes up with shipping, Nis will make it right. He's told me before that at least one or two of my machines required over an hour for packing! I'm happy to pay a little more for this type of professional care.

These 1940s Royal portables are such great machines. Yours is especially nice with its full round keyboard (no square shifts). I wonder why the ribbon cover is up, perhaps to make the machine louder for the video?
