I love everything about this clock. I love the fact it has two faces, a crack in the dial, inlays, the way the gears sound when they spin, i love how the gear was too big for the minute hand to fit over it and the stand offs were sooo cool and added so much to the clock. If i had a machine shop, all id do most times is probably make clocks, lol. You did a perfect job. Definitely a wall clock tho, or maybe a nice custom table would be cool. I believe you can change the pendulum weight instead of length?
And perhaps incorporate steel or another heavier metal into the weight to make it shorter - or just have the string spool be a smaller diameter to increase runtime (assuming it can still supply enough torque that it won't get stuck)
You've built a beautiful thing. I love the dials
