Pica Master Set! Best Way To Get Into Pica Markers?

- The pica master set is a great way to get started into the pica marker lineup, especially if you have no other pica markers. The reason for this is that this set will start you off with 3 of their flagship special pens as well as plenty supplies for them as well. I dont keep them in this case but it is a quality setup if it fits your work flow. For me personally I like to put the ones for specific jobs in with those kits. Ive ended up buying so many pica pens and been happy with all of them.

It's fine to call it "lead". It's been called that since the old roman times because they use to use lead to write with. It's been called that for so long and everyone KNOWS it's not really lead. I will always call it lead and no plans to change. I usually think of graphite as the powder or thick chunky stuff you smudge on paper when drawing.
I'm a fan of Pica pencils / markers too. This looks like a nice set. Thanks for sharing.
Another very informative presentation!! They should give you that set for doing such a great job selling them👏👏
I use the white cap on my colored leads and the normal green cap on my regular graphite pica
I never thought I needed another version of my trusty old carpenter pencil. But after this I’m ordering one of the Pica dry ones.
Very nice! I use a Markal Pro mechanical pencil, which is a big pencil with a metal deep-hole barrel. You can get graphite “leads” or colored leads (red + yellow) .. or, in my case, I use them with their Silver Streak leads for marking steel in my fab shop. The Silver Streak leads are also fairly heat resistant so they’re great for torch/plasma cutting to your line. Better than traditional soap stone at least.
If anyone is interested the Pica Fine dry 7070 is made in Japan, something I noticed on the packaging when I got mine.
Awesome. I may get this. Thanks for the breakdown of what you get.
Love my pica dry. This looks like a great set to pick up! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing this. I have been wanting to get the new Pica Fine but also wanted to get a master set. Seems they decided to deliver. 👍🏻
Great video, I've looked at picking this kit up but I love using my .7mm mechanical pencils
The original Pica pencil is great for when you want a really fine line and you've got the pencil sharpener right there.
Love my pica pencil but they seriously need a narrow led/graphite option. .5 and/.7 for those tiny holes in my ruler.
6:11 Pica warns against inserting the graphite they way you did. They want you to always insert it from the back. Pushing it back in from the front is harder on the mechanism. I like your videos.
I like the Tracer version of these as well, they do a scribing tool that you can insert the pencil into, the Pica pencil will also fit. My only gripe is they only seem to do HB leads, where as I would prefer 2H hardness.
This looks like good markers. Now i want you send some for me 😀
I have seen these on several channels I will have to give them a try.
Hey Joseph I’m just now seeing this so what did I win?
I dont think anything unscrews on the pica ink. the felt nib is removeable by pulling it out the end of the marker
Thanks for another great video. 👍 Have you ever tried the Markal Pro holder with graphite refill? And if so, how do you feel they compare to the Pica equivalent? Thanks!
So these are just for marking holes in deep pockets in hardware etc?
They NEED this type of video for their corporate page.
Bunch of idiots over there. Can't tell the difference on their website what vs. What. Etc. Good video, helped explain things.
Strange that the kit where missing white leads since it came with the white cap. I use white lead on one of my picas, so white cap on that, whish they had colored caps for the others :)
I thought the color pack had white ones in it.
I have the colorpack with blue and green, and it contained two white, but that was another master seg. I would like them to sell the Pica Fan pack, which have everything (atleast it looks so)
You can buy a pack of caps with different
@@feralcruz2093 Yes, they obviously listened :), I bought that pack for a bit ago.
I love the 3030 I just received as a gift. I'm not sure where I'd use the fine one, as I harbor childhood trauma of those thin leads breaking on me during a school test. I love the thicker lead that can be quickly sharpened to a point.
And they're still called "leads", no matter the material. They're graphite leads. :-)
I guess I’m into pencils now
To markers, I reasently found the Edding retract 11 for me as I always lost the cap, putting the marker in my trousers side bag
Am I the only one who has issues with the colored leads becoming a melted mess in the summer?
Maybe? I keep them in my truck and haven’t had them melt and that’s Oklahoma heat here lol. They do get soft though
There’s actually a summer range of leads that are slightly harder and don’t melt
I'd also like to have a cap on the fine dry that had an eraser
The white cap is so you can tell which pencil has a lead and which has a colour in it
It just pushes on top of the original pica dry and replaces the original green
I'd like a master kit that has everything they've got to offer. I found the 23pc master kit, but doesn't have the metal set
I'd rather get a pica some tools you purchased 😁
Is that a Pica, in your pocket? 〽🖊
Or are you just, happy to see me?
They are called leads. Regardless of what they are made of.
Focus.
I just use wood pencils I find free all over the place.
Nothing wrong with that! We all have our preferences 😁
It’s a lead pencil
😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Middle two should be white
Anyone who spergs out over calling it lead is not someone whose opinion you should even acknowledge 🤣
