Slate blue all day!! Got your channel a few days ago, went bream fishing for the first time in 2 years been chasing bass instead and purchased some slippery dogs and bent minnows. Unlucky for me for not having social media but love your work cheers!!

I brought a passport 12 recently. One of the biggest deciding factors that made me choose the Passport over the Compass was the rudder system with the fibre glass rod. It is simply more responsive than any of the wire/cord rudder systems out there. My previous yak turned like a barge compared to the passport. I have since added a rectangular hatch and moved the circular hatch forward, added the internal wiring system for my sounder, upgraded the drive to 180MD and upgraded the rudder to the deployable version from the seat. All in all it’s a nice tidy little package now.

Looking for a kayak that I could do a little fishing in mostly small lakes, ponds, creeks and slow moving rivers but it would be primarily used for recreation and exercise. Slate blue mate, its a much better colour then the bright outback blue im currently running.. i cant hide anywhere 😅. The passport is the perfect kayak for the grey nomad/traveller i reckon, perfect to throw ontop of the campertrailer or 4x4 for cruising around Australia 👌🏼

12 foot Bay Sands is my pick. I recently disposed of my very old Hobie Outback as it had a crack in the mirage drive part of the hull which I had repaired numerous times. It got to the point that every fishing trip resulted in the kayak completely filling up with water and weighing a tonne. 15 mins to empty before I could car top it!! I have been looking at new vs second hand Hobies and would be extremely grateful to win a brand new one. My life is not the same not having the ability to fish on my local dam (Googong) ....

Honestly what a review if you where in the look for a new kayak and watched this you wouldn’t change your mind would have to pick slate colour but if any colour would pick yellow for my mum that just passed away who was always pushing me to fish as much as I can

@@ByronTeaHill I’ve really been contemplating a kayak over a small boat in the last few months. With bream wising up to the sounds of electrics on boats, a kayak is a huge advantage when getting tight among the structure & reducing your chances of spooking the big ones...
Bay Sands without a doubt! Very new to kayak fishing and have been doing what I can on a recreational paddle model. Love the excellent videos your making, informative and very well produced. I have yet to try out Kayak Fishing. This would be the Ultimate way to kick start a new style of fishing for me, Especially being able to get to those hard to access fishing spots. Very informative Video Byron. Would be great in the Slate Blue colour. 😃🎣
Hey mate, I’d have a look at weight limits - you’re weight plus your gear may tip you over the rated kayak weight. On the water though, I’d want a larger kayak (the compass is a very nice kayak for those who are taller and built men)
What an awesome yak and just what I need for my plans, I've been wanting one for some time now, if I win this my goal is to paddle the Murray River from weir to mouth filming a doco on the sites and fishing along the way, and also raise some money for beyond blue, I have been planning this trip for awhile now and the only thing stopping me is the affordability of a good stable yak that will carry everything for the 3mth trip... So if I happen to win this it would be goin towards a good cause, I would also be willing to auction it off after the trip to raise more money towards beyond blue...

I am now looking to upgrade from my paddle kayak and this 12" passport looks great. It's not too big to car top which is what I like about kayak fishing. I can strap it on the roof in 10 minutes and be off and on the water in no time. This looks the goods with a couple of upgrades and I like the Bay Sand Colour. cheers.
