I thought that the Quiznos Sub’s Sponge Monkey’s were just a parody commercial by the Nostalgia Critic at first. I didn’t think it was REAL!!
I can attest they were real and as a kid I actually loved that commercial.
They were real, alright! People used to refer the spongmonkeys as those Quiznos rat-things.
They didn't last long, however. They used to freak out people.
It sounds like a couple of drunk down syndrome kids playing with a tape recorder!

They have an auto-biography of Captain James T. Kirk. All the incidents from the series AND the movies are referenced. EXCEPT “Star Trek V!” Kirk, Spock and McCoy travel back to the Roman Empire planet, and find that the SON of the blonde slave girl who seduces Kirk has become a film maker and is making stories based on what information he can get from the Federation crew of the older ship! Yes, even in a fictional universe, ST V is so bad it had to be relegated to a fictional story!

"...How will THAT work!?"

I thought I successfully blocked it out of my memory, until today. Those goddamn things convinced me to stay the fuck out of Quiznos, because I didn't want to encourage them.
