I've had my 2024 base model since June and put about 5k miles on it. I haven't had issues with wheelie control. I usually turn it completely off because I do quite a bit of offroad. The wheelie control will interfere with the traction control when offroad, thus the reason many people give the traction control on the AT bad marks. I run the traction control mostly at 1and sometimes 2. The offroad ABS is impressive and haven't had a need to turn it off, especially with a more offroad orientated tire. I really enjoy this motorcycle. It does everything great, very well rounded bike.
I own the 24 African twin base model DTC I love the bike I had to turn off Willie control and traction control off-road bike stuttered and ran terrible turn it off solve my problem 3 days later I saw the recall took it in right away and they did the update haven't ridden it since in the shop getting a high Fender kit from alt Rider installed looking forward to trying it out with the update. With the stutter I could see you falling into a turn on a switchback or giving it too much gas trying to get through the stutter and all of a sudden taken off on you.

I hope this doesn't signal Honda going down the route of KTM and BMW.......loading bikes with unnecessary tech. that very few want or need.
stupid feature anyway, should be removed. We know how to control wheelie...
