Hello Mark. I just bought a Yamaha FJR1300 just like the one in the video. I'm super happy with the performance of the bike. I've been looking for a backrest for a while and I'm seeing that your bike has one. Could you tell me where I can buy it or do you know where I can get it? Thanks.

En los años 2002 nos entregaron las primeras unidades de FJR1300. He trabajado más de 20 años con dichas motos, he recorrido al rededor de 1.500.00km . Hoy estoy jubilado, tengo la mía propia, una FJR 1300 AS del año 2019. Es simplemente una alfombra voladora. Vivo en el sur de España y con bastante frecuencia vuelvo a mis orígenes, el Pirineo Frances, un recorrido de 1.200,km en una jornada. Sobran más argumentos.

Was this oil change part of your first service? Did you reset the service light on your own?

Triumph changed the oil to their own brand already. New stuff is 10W40 full syn Made in UK.

Been using the alternative o ring since 2019..owner manual is fantastic to have.

Great vlog.This bike is very sensitive to slack to ensure a smooth ride.I noticed you seemed to just measure the upward slack but I interpreted the image as measuring the full range from lowest point to high?

Would like to see the gauges updated and adaptive cruise control on this bike. The TFT on the Tracer 9 GT+ is nice.

Make sure you get ALL of the bits of cam chain guide channel out of the oil. Oh, and get the dealer to check out why the engine kill switch turns itself off for no reason while you’re riding.

Good stuff Mark! I will have to think about that alternate o-ring. It's a bit smaller and initially I thought well does it seal then like it should... but I see it's also a little fatter, so maybe that's ok. Would love to hear your opinion after a few usage cases. Hi, very nice review! Have you heard anything about any gearbox issues in this particular model? I heard from some repairman, that it's not so reliable as the previous one with 5 gear transmission and the cost of repair is actually brutal if it breaks

What are the dementions: length, width , hight and weight?

The oil filter must be completely wet with oil. I put the filter in a plastic bag in which it was originally, fill it with oil and wait until it starts to soak through, then pour the oil back into the container and install the wet filter in the engine.

These are great bikes except for the seat that's the one thing that needs upgrading it you really want to cover the miles in comfort. I have a 2019 that I bought used which has just about every factory upgrade including the extended fairings, frame sliders, Yamaha comfort seat (that isn't comfortable - trust me), upgraded aluminum top-box rack. Yamaha Top Box with the passenger seat back-rest. It is a bike that handles really well is an absolute rocket ship. I've done a 2500-3000 mile trip two up on mine. Really good value for money. Maintenance is also easy as you note. The dash gives you all the information you need. I added a bracket for a Garmin GPS on mine. I hate adaptive cruise control - normal cruise control is perfectly adequate. You will enjoy this bike.

Excellent video and perfect timing. I just did my first change on my Scrambler this morning.

I like most of the add on’s you chose. The mini floorboards are a great idea. I have an 08 Goldwing with the trickle charger, cargo mats but I have and like the crash bar with Highway pegs to stretch out and my wife likes her aftermarket passenger swivel armrests with a cup holder.

Just found your channel. You've got great taste in bikes... and I say this because you own all of the bikes I'm thinking of buying. If I had Jordan Love money, I'd make you an offer for your garage and everything in it... but mostly just the Triumph Scrambler, that's what brought me here. Thanks for posting, much obliged.
