@chosengeneration382 for your report, you need to use ECA( education credential assessment) such as ICAS, ICES, WES etc to evaluate your transcript first, the result will then be forwarded to NCAS for final evaluation before BCCNM receives it. For ECA evaluation, you'll need your O'level result and nursing certificate with transcripts

There's nothing to worry about. I'd just advise you to call Ncas assessor to verify if they've received your evaluation report, then wait until they issue their final report and finally send it to BCCNM regulatory board
There's no specific time, though. It all depends on when they receive your documents and reports from ECA, then the NCAS team will assess your reports, send it to BCCNM , and finally decide on when to schedule you for CBT and SLA once you've had the proof of visiting visa.

Hello! It's my first time getting across your content. A genuine and informative video! I have some questions to ask you if possible regarding the BCCNM application. I'm a versatile nurse from Morocco with about two years experience. In my country nursing isn't regulated, so we don't have a regulatory body. My Bachelor's degree of 3 years in Nursing was delivred by the ministry of health. In the process of BCCNM should I say that I'm not registred as a nurse in any country or say yes and choose the ministry of health as the regulatory body?. Btw, here we don't get any licence. If we hold a diploma and pass an exam, we start working. Also, it will be hard for me to get a form filled by my employer or getting information from the ministry of health as I'm still working in the public sector and they are strict and refuse such requests because they don't wanna loose nurses. In the private sector it would be smoother. Still I can bring my work proof with details.
Thanks for watching Well, I'd advise you email BCCNM first to discuss your concern regarding the issue of not having nursing regulatory board that could confirm your nursing status. Alternatively, you can register with Newbrunswick under the new nursing registration process as Morocco is under one of the mentioned zone on their website Secondly, as per employer information, you'll need to declare the hours worked but your immediate supervisor can assist you to fill it if at all you do need it If you need further guide, you can reach me on ig @ o_funky1
Thank you for a great video....But please.will NCAS accept electronic IELTS test report form or it has to be sent to them Via courier service by the say Bristish Council or IDP?
You can verify this with BCCNM. I'd advise you to apply with either CRNA or NSCN for easy transfer of your registration. I'm not sure if BCCNM will take your Nclex results to bridge any education gap( s) like other provinces
Thank you so ma for the short yet detailed video….I appreciate you. My concern is regarding the NCAS application form,so I have to download and fill the form and send a scanned copy or how do advise I go about it. @suzanigbokwe1306 in that case, I'd advise you to contact BCCNM via email or phone call first to ask if you can apply directly with their regulatory board without going through NCAS since you already passed Nclex. Otherwise, I'd advise you to register with CRNA without going through any evaluation body, get your license as Alberta RN then transfer directly to BCCNM.
@ifeyinwaigboanugo6785 for NCAS, you need proof of English proficiency either celban or ielts, report of your academic training evaluation from either WES, ICAS, ICES, CES and you'll need Nursing skills and knowledge assessment through NCAS assessment ( this is in 2 part) 1. Cbt which can be completed at Prometric test centres 2. Simulated lab assessment which needs to be completed in Vancouver, BC, Canada- this will require you to travel to Canada 🇨🇦 Nothing like awaiting English result, once you create your NCAS application, you can send in documents as you have them at hand.
@@nurseo3408 oh I missed it, okay please I have not done the assessments. Please how do I get done. So I can choose any organization and use, and then What about NNAS.
@ifeyinwaigboanugo6785 you don't need NNAS again for British Columbia nursing registration. Pls visit their website to begin your applications. Also, I've made video on how to register with BCCNM, let me know if you still need further assistance
You can proceed to do the cbt aspect from Ghana in any Prometric testing center and apply for visitors visa to Canada for the SLA part. @@nurseo3408 thank you another one please I don’t have anyone around me that is doing the process so I need guide when am confused. My verification from my country should it also be sent direct to NCAS. Please there address, how can I get their address. Thank you so much
@ifeyinwaigboanugo6785 you have to create an account with NCAS then you'll have those documents send directly to them. Basically for NCAS, you need an online application, proof of English proficiency and credential evaluation report. Also, you'll create account with BCCNM which is your nursing regulatory board, a member of the regulatory department will contact you of the required documents and that's when you can now request for your verification of license and information from your previous employer. Link to NCAS www.ncasbc.ca/apply_to_ncas/Pages/default.aspx Link to BCCNM www.bccnm.ca/Pages/Default.aspx
For the NCAS assessment (simulation)will one have to travel to canada to do the assesment or is it done virtually. Secondly at what stage will the person apply for a job..
SLA requires you to be present in Canada. You can try applying for job once you've initiated your immigration application such as PR, this can also boost your chances of getting nomination while waiting in the pool of you've secured a job offer
Once you've completed the form to request your transcript and certificate from your school, your school can either mail or courier the documents back to ICAS.
Thanks Nurse O for your clarification, it's easy to have my nursing qualifications sent from my institution but hard here in Uganda to have my o level and A level results sent since they are national exams and certificates only awarded by uneb. How do I go about that. Thanks in anticipation
@chosengeneration382 well, if you have a copy, you can upload it to your profile then ICAS can verify same by themselves. Although I know ICAS and CES usually don't request for O'level except for WES so just proceed with your nursing transcripts and certificate.

It all depends on the need in the area but overall, getting psw won't be an issue as long as you have permit to work. You can search for job on Indeed, LinkedIn etc
Most PSW jobs on indeed or LinkedIn needs someone who’s already in Canada my question is easy to find job after moves into Canada without a work permit

Secondly i don't v waec I'll using my NECO , hope it not a problem. Thirdly I have double qualifications nd i want to use ICAS for credential evaluation, i hope m good
Thanks for the compliment 1. Yes you can use employer reference form but if the assessor isn't satisfied, you may be required to provide more proof, so get prepared for this. 2. WAEC is mostly recognized compared to NECO but there's no crime in trying. You may be required as well to provide more document(s) to support it. 3. Also for Alberta, there are various ways through which you can proof your language to CRNA, check out my latest post on that from my community post.

Hi.
This is a lovely post but I wanted to make enquiries about the license. I have gotten my Wes, English proficiency document, letter of recommendation from my employer. But I don't have a nursing license yet. I only have Bnsc can I still proceed with my applications. thanks ma.
Thanks for the compliment. Being in good standing with your regulatory body is a must, I'd advise you email the regulatory board to see if you can proceed with the application.
@@nurseo3408 ok ma please can u help me send the email address I can make enquiries from thanks love.

*The NCAS assessment* has two parts: a computer-based assessment (CBA) which can be completed at Prometric test centres around the world, and a simulated lab assessment (SLA) *which must be completed in Vancouver, BC, Canada* (Meaning you must travel to Canada)
This is basically use to assess your nursing skills and overall knowledge
Okay ma ,I have a little challenge I create an account with them but to login am finding it difficult can one open another account if possible. Also pls can you guide someone in the process of all these forms.
You'll need to create your NCAS application so that you can quote your NCAS ID no on your WES application.
You need academic ielts, I've dropped the link to access the required score by BCCNM in the comment section.
Let me know if you need further assistance
@@alabifunmilola you can email NCAS about trouble logging into your account.
@@nurseo3408 okay thanks.
Good afternoon, please ma, I used WES for my evaluation . I can sent my report to NCAS myself or I should add them as recipient so that they will have the report directly from WES.
You need to add ncas as recipient so wes can directly send your report to them
@@nurseo3408 thank you another one please I don’t have anyone around me that is doing the process so I need guide when am confused.

Please i would like to have your email...i really need more info on this.
@@TheNurseTV message me on my Ig @ o_funky1 pls
If I am using Icas, how does my institution send my credentials, is it through email or?

Please what of people who have started WES registration but have not gotten their report because of NCAS ID, what should one do
Just put NCAS ASSESSOR TEAM where it asked for the receipient name. This will enable your report to be forwarded to NCAS after the assessment
@@nurseo3408 please my schools have already sent my credentials to WES am waiting for their response, what should I do as regards the NCAS registration ID
@aliceozoagu8225 don't worry, you can just email Wes when your report is out to forward your report to NCAS ASSESSOR TEAM, BC

@@nurseo3408 Good day sis,pls I want to find out under new applicant in ICAS registration which one do we choose there
Main application
Assessment for college application
Immigration to Canada
Assessment for registration with the Bc college of nurses and midwife BCCNM
2) ICAS is requesting both original education document plus a set of clear complete photocopies and document sent directly to ICAS by institution.icas requires both graduation document certificate and official transcript. How do we send original document to them.
3)Are we to send second sch waec digital certificate issue to ICAS by waec or this one is not met for the application.
Or is just the post secondary official transcript that is needed.
3) wen applying for transcript for ICAS application do we also request for transcript and curriculum or only transcript.
4) in the assessment report is it the general assessment reports we are met to choose.
Sorry for the numerous questions.
Thanks you are the best Nurse O.

I’m a nurse in my home country but I’m will to relocate with a tourist visa how easy it to get a job as a PSW worker as I’m waiting for my nursing practicing license ?
It all depends on the need in the area but overall, getting psw won't be an issue as long as you have permit to work.
You can search for job on Indeed, LinkedIn etc
Most PSW jobs on indeed or LinkedIn needs someone who’s already in Canada my question is easy to find job after moves into Canada without a work permit

Greetings , i must say you're doing a great job,Thanks so much for all you do & for your selflessness.
A quick one....
I don't v IELTS ,
on the NCAS form i chose employers reference form as proof of English language skill. I want to kn if it's fair enough.
Secondly
i don't v waec I'll using my NECO , hope it not a problem.
Thirdly
I have double qualifications nd i want to use ICAS for credential evaluation, i hope m good
Thanks for the compliment
1. Yes you can use employer reference form but if the assessor isn't satisfied, you may be required to provide more proof, so get prepared for this.
2. WAEC is mostly recognized compared to NECO but there's no crime in trying. You may be required as well to provide more document(s) to support it.
3. ICAS is ok with double qualifications
All the best 👍

Hi,
I already passed nclex from Illinois board of nursing, US. Now I am applying for NCAS. Do I still need to give CBA and SLA to work in BC?
This decision solely depends on the NCAS ASSESSOR, but you'll probably have to do both
