You can also see clearly how he doesn't seem skittish around her and he's trying to be the best version of himself. Moreover, I also noticed how much he hated being called an O'Driscoll, even jokingly, which says a lot and is clear how his time spent with those guys was a miserable one. The Van Der Linde gang was his real family and he stuck with them till the end. He had plenty of options later on to just run off and join up with Colm again, but he didn't, because that wasn't who he was. It still hurts me to know what happened to him in the end, and you can see that Arthur was deeply moved by his death
Kieran didn't deserved what happenned to him. Poor guy. Since his very capture in chapter one he always showed signs of loyalty to the gang, Arthur mostly. In the side fishing mission he tells more or less this words to us: "By this point i'm more to Kieran Van der Linde than Kieran O'Driscoll"
Poor Kieran, he didn't deserve to die. I liked that character. It would be better if he survived and stayed with Mery-Beth. Underrated character. His arc was quite tragic, but he still managed to make an impression on the gang, especially Arthur, since he saved his life once. What he wrote about him in his diary was profound.
Kieran ends up getting drunk at Jack’s party and it’s implied that in his impaired state he wandered away from the house and into the more wooded area (from which the horse emerges with his body later) and O’Driscolls were already hiding there or just scoping out the area and that’s how they snatched him. i’m not sure about this part, but i assumed it was scripted to start storming later in the night, because that’s happened to me on each playthrough, and it makes sense that the sound of the rain and thunder would cover up Kieran screaming.
I'm a bit late to the party, but you always find Kieran sleeping (when he DOES sleep) on the edge of the camp. Likely because he's afraid someone will start harassing him if they catch him with his guard down like that. It would've been easy to grab him and no one would have realised for a day or two since he keeps to himself.
I love imagining at the end of Chapter 6 when Dutch shouts, “Who of you is betraying me?!” as he points his guns at Arthur and John alongside Bill, Javier, Micah and the others; Kieran, Sean, Lenny and Hosea slowly shuffle to Arthur and John’s side like in the original game if they were still alive. It’s such a nice thought and I *know* they would’ve sided with Arthur in the end.
It would be a nice ending if he survived to the end of the story and married Mary-Beth, I think it would fit the story, considering Mary-Beth cleared had feelings for him, she is devastated when he went missing and after his death.
I miss Kieran’s famous line to Mary “Still reading?”. Guy doesn’t even have enough knowledge to share with people and he doesn’t have a charm. But he’s trying his best
I love Kieran, I always followed him around camp, interacted with him every chance, and went fishing with him (even immediately got him his burdock root) and I lost interest in playing rdr2 after his death 🙁
Kieran literally was the most capable of holding a mutual conversation with the girls in camp. Not needing to be comforted, but actually listening to what Mary Beth had to say. That's why they liked each other so much.
I think Dutch says it early in the game, that Colm O'Driscoll treats his gang members like trash, and barely knows any of their names, like an opposite version of Dutch. But I feel even if the Van Der Linde gang knows this, they still treat Kieran if he was as loyal to Colm as they are to Dutch. So they treat Kieran like a rat for the longest time.
I liked Kieran he was one of my favorite characters. He had the worst death than all of the others who died in the gang. He saved our lives but we couldn’t save him.
I'm having a hard time finding that first conversation between Mary-Beth and Kieran. I got Tilly talking to him, I got Sadie, but not Mary-Beth or Karen for some odd reason.

Still wondered how Kieran was caught, he said Dutch wouldn’t let him leave
The O'Driscolls snuck into camp during Jack's party while everyone was either drunk or asleep.
Kieran was a sweet kid even though at first we treated him like shit he really was a unique guy
If Hosea was alive the gang wouldn't split up in the first place.
I cant imagine how weird the player looks to the npcs lmao just watching their every move whenever they do something interesting
I remember walking by them when Kieran tells Mary Beth she’s beautiful and I was like “shit yeah O’Driscall, get it done”
poor man is so shy around her-
It would be a nice ending if he survived to the end of the story and married Mary-Beth, I think it would fit the story, considering Mary-Beth cleared had feelings for him, she is devastated when he went missing and after his death.
Love the awkward moment at the end. Been in that similar situation when i talked with beautiful girls.
And i like that feeling.
Watching this makes me sad all over again. He didn’t deserve what happened to him.
They would have been so perfect together
1:39 “your very pertty🥺” my god I would happily fight a bear if it means Kieran could get a happy ending
Mary beth also flirted with Arthur before Kieran was accepted into the gang
Mary Beth also starts asking the camp if they seen Kieran when he disappears
Spoilers
Today I played the mission where kieran died. RIP

The most brutal death in the game
Hahahaha. Me too. Just a couple of hours ago.
@@Cyrus83842 really, I think it was John’s
R.I.P John Marston 😭😭😭
ruclips.net/video/t26ndzAn9gc/видео.html look at this vampire
Kieran the rizz master
How the hell there are still hidden stuff left after all these years? I fcking love this game and I love PZ showing them to us
I miss Kieran’s famous line to Mary “Still reading?”. Guy doesn’t even have enough knowledge to share with people and he doesn’t have a charm. But he’s trying his best
These interactions make it even sadder how Mary-Beth reacted when they saw his corpse. Fuckin rockstar and their well fleshed out story lines.
THESE ARE SO CUTE OMG 😭😭😭 I also love how everything is animated, the little subtle movements and so on
I saw this dialogue when Kieran interacted with Mary-Beth reading a book and I felt really sorry for him
I dont see it like a romantic love, more like family or besties
Kieran feels safe around her
I love Kieran, I always followed him around camp, interacted with him every chance, and went fishing with him (even immediately got him his burdock root) and I lost interest in playing rdr2 after his death 🙁
I like how they doesn't care when arthur just staring at them
Kieran literally was the most capable of holding a mutual conversation with the girls in camp. Not needing to be comforted, but actually listening to what Mary Beth had to say. That's why they liked each other so much.
They give me that shy high school lovers vibe
I think Dutch says it early in the game, that Colm O'Driscoll treats his gang members like trash, and barely knows any of their names, like an opposite version of Dutch. But I feel even if the Van Der Linde gang knows this, they still treat Kieran if he was as loyal to Colm as they are to Dutch. So they treat Kieran like a rat for the longest time.
1:55 That is probably the saddest thing I have ever heard and seen
I liked Kieran he was one of my favorite characters. He had the worst death than all of the others who died in the gang. He saved our lives but we couldn’t save him.
Karen was mean to Keiran here but opens up to him around chapter 4.
Thanks for uploading these, I missed part of these because old miss Grimshaw kept walking up blabbing about something so I couldn't fully hear it.
This would make sense why Mary-Beth screamed when she saw him dead.
Mary Beth is too pure for the world.
I'm having a hard time finding that first conversation between Mary-Beth and Kieran. I got Tilly talking to him, I got Sadie, but not Mary-Beth or Karen for some odd reason.
Kieran always reminded me of Floyd from gta 5. He’s skittish and always nervous, but still a good person.
And has a cruel and undeserving death
I would also like to point out that she is the first one to witness Kieran death
“I thought O’Driscolls ate babies, you are a baby.”
THE BIG FOOT IS A GODDAM O'DRICOLL!
man this hits hard after chapter 4 :(
him not knowing what to say and trying to say something but nothing coming out is like the sweetest thing
