He speaks so well.. he seems so genuine.. and he paints a picture… happy to see he was able to climb out of the pit. I lost my boyfriend to an unexpected relapse. I’ll never be the same again.

Keep coming back. And hope you stay. Congratulations on getting clean and sober. You may be in a little denial about your upbringing. If you're father was an alcoholic, you didn't come from a normal family.

Great channel man, I’d like to see more of it, I believe I seen a comment on this first video about how this is a copy of soft white underbelly and I don’t agree, but if I’m able to make a recommendation, I would switch it up a little, maybe the intro or background etc, just trying to make a helpful recommendation not tryna bash you brother, also so people don’t get that impression of you trying to copy other creators videos great vids tho and I’m looking forward more 👍

Thank you. For sure I’ll be making changes as I progress. Obviously soft white underbelly is a huge influence on my style and work. But I understand what people are saying, I just hope they focus more on the stories which is the most important part.

articulate people like this are great to assist others with addiction and folks like me who research addiction and opiates. One thing we have observed is distinct possibility of strong genetic factors for opiate addiction: runs in families (along w alcoholism and First pill euphoria that 99% do not have. Does this make sense or are we chasing the proverbial wild goose.?

Having an alcoholic father is NOT a good childhood. He definitely has experienced abuse and neglect in his childhood. He has a level of denial in not recognizing the neglect and addressing it full on.

This wasn't my childhood my guy lol I went through extensive therapy, I was never abused sex or physically. My parents were active in my life and I had a decent childhood. Not all trauma is so in your face and not everyone's story is yours or someone you know lol. I'm not in denial of anything in my life I'm an open book and I speak truth to myself first and foremost.

@@LifeUndertheInfluence You might want to read some books on childhood trauma backgrounds. It would give u some solid knowledge to understand better the ppl ur interviewing. Also you might want to refer these ppl to some reading which Mark never does. I’ve suggested this but he never even replied. Books by Dr Gabor Mate’ are good. Alice Miller books are excellent also. The book Toxic Parents is excellent.

It seems maybe you have a grudge lol you should work that out with yourself. But you shouldn't come here and judge people or try to give phsyc advice from someone you don't even know. That's a really weird thing to do.
